Answer:	Nathan, Thanks for the question. The Moisture Range on this Hand Held meter for CORN is 10 - 40%. However, the clear plastic funnel which is provided to assist with consistent filling of the test cell, will not work well on corn over say 25 - 30%. This is due to the lack of flowability in the higher moisture content. I would suggest that you still fill the funnel, but pour the sample back out the large end at just 1 - 2" above the test cell. EVERY TIME and at the same Rate. With this consistency, you would have much greater repeatability between different tests. Answer:	Not on the standard instrument, but YES, Long Grain and Medium Grain Rough Rice have recently been added to the available Calibration list. Question:	how do i weigh a large heavy bag
Answer:	just lift the bag with the scale. I did notice that one reviewer mentioned the handle on the scale was too small but I haven't had that problem. The only problem I could foresee is if the hook was too small for the handle of the bag you're trying to weigh in which case I would use a short strap around the handle.
Question:	How precise is this scale in the range under 2lb/1kg
Answer:	I tested it using canned food products with labeled weights - it would randomly vary 1 to 3 oz. more or less than the indicated weight. There didn't seem to be any consistency that I could rely on; i.e., if the product weighed 16 oz., it would weigh more one time and less the next time I weighed it.
Question:	How do you hook the fish
Answer:	Well that depends on what type of fish you're talking about and if it's a saltwater or freshwater fish. For freshwater for Bass 90% of the ones I've caught have been on rubber worms, mostly from Culprit Brand, the others from live bait. For Catfish you can't beat fresh dead minnows or shiners. Bluegill and Brim bread or homemade dough-balls work the best. Now let's talk about hooking the fish, the most important thing is to make sure your fishing line is taught meaning NO SLACK in the line another thing is you don't want to wait to long to set the hook because you run the chance of "gut hooking" the fish and killing it. For bigger fish like Bass and Catfish once you feel the fish pulling on the line, have your rod tip pointed around 10 o clock or 2 o clock and in one Quick motion jerk/pull the rod back hard to the 12 o clock position setting the hook. Now all you have to do is reel him in.

Answer:	Ounces. So, 2 lbs displays as 32 ounces. If lbs, then is registers 2.0 pounds and 2 1/2 lbs displays as 2.5 lbs, not 2 lbs 8 oz.

Question:	Just got a used one on amazon here. there are no instructions. also it has no battery
Answer:	I bought the dr.meter specifically to check installed drywall in non-pin mode. I didn't even see a way to "calibrate" the meter. I tested it on a known dry section of wall: the meter read 0%. Then I slid it over the suspected area and got readings varying from 15% up to 60% or so. That confirmed my suspicions. I cut out a big rectangle of the 3/4" drywall ceiling and it was quite wet inside, dripping. The open cell foam insulation was wet and spongy. The meter reading is instant and there is no apparent lag when moving. It even differentiates between different pieces of fruit. I tested some oranges, with readings of 40% to 55%, or so. It's a great device!

Answer:	Most interior walls read 0%. Best way to judge your walls or ceiling is to take readings in other areas of the room. But yes 20% is high. Also make sure there is no metal in the wall like in the corners some house do have metal this will give you a false reading.

Answer:	i got it hvac for measuring the new inverter driven motors, that have around .2-.68 ohm (+/-10%) measurement. ran into the same issue with other multimeters, $500+ that measure ohms that low. but for giggles, i have a slash 2wd with a tekin redline 8.5t setup and measured all 3 windings, .15, .15, .14. and it held. hopefully it helps

Answer:	The accuracy of the meter, according to page 3 of the meter instructions is 1.5%b of the reading +/- 3 digits. Unless you have standards or a more accurate Kelvin-type instrument you will not be able to question this accuracy very readily. For the money, there is nothing available to my knowledge that will beat this excellent instrument.

Answer:	In my field when we say "megger" we are referring to a mega-ohm meter. Measuring large resistances to ground. usually motor phase to ground. Question:	Why does the cap contained some condensation
Answer:	The electrode (probe) is with potassium chloride in the factory in order to activate the PH probe for protection. If the protective sponge on the probe cover has dried, you need to add pure water. Otherwise, there may be inaccurate testing and electrode damage, and then it will not function.
Question:	Will this provide an accurate ph test for urine
Answer:	First you must calibrate it, it have 3 packs of powders to calibrate the meter. Once it is calibrated it should be accurate. I have never use it for urine but I use it for hydroponics, and it has served me very well

Answer:	No, there is no part number for a replacement probe.
Question:	It's not accurate after calibrating with ph buffer powder, why
Answer:	Please be advised that when you calibrated a calibration powder, you have to clean up the glass electrode with distilled water first, then calibrate the next calibration powder. Otherwise the reading will be off.

How to Calibrate the PH Meter?

1. Before calibration, prepare 3 beakers separately containing pH4.00 solution, pH6.86 solution, and pH9.18 solution. Make sure that each solution is 250ml and at a stable temperature of 25 degree.

2. Prepare 3 separate beakers with distilled water.

3. Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the meter.

4. Remove the cap and immerse the electrode

into the PH4.00 buffer solution. Stir gently and wait for the value to stabilize.

5. Press and hold the CAL button for 5

seconds. Hold the electrode in the solution until the LCD screen displays a value of pH 4.00.

6. Rinse the electrode with distilled water and blot dry. Repeat step 4, 5, and 6 for the pH 6.86 and pH 9.18 solutions.
