Answer:	It would work in the middle of the bed as a knee support and probably as some sort of back incline. The highest position, used against a headboard or wall, as in the picture, wouldn't sit up well without that support. I love it as either a back support to prevent acid reflux or as a support for my knees to help stretch my lower back.
