They are big but all the brands for Cod Liver oil are big. I've been taking this vitamin since my mom gave it to us as kids when I was 3. Now 60 yrs later I still take it and swear by it and other thought out additives to my diet. I rarely get sick. I usually only take them Mon. thru Fri. I find I get rid of extra in my system over the weekend and then it's like a kick start on Monday. Works for me. Everyone is different. Watch you levels of A & D. If you want to take this don't add extra A&D separately. However, a multi-vitamin the levels are usually reasonable with the Cod liver oil and other suppliments but I watch excess. I also drink lots of water too. I swear by filtered water to keep everything moving and less wrinkles too. Good luck.

A most and adding more of it than even is naturally found in Cod Liver Oil is good news for me. Maybe that's why the company chose to add. Some companies add the retinyl; others do not. NOW brand has the same two vitamins in the same form, added.

Answer:	Yes I can confirm it helps grow back bone as long as you have calcium in your everyday diet. I took xrays at my dentist which showed I needed 4 cavities. After taking the cod liver oil for 6 months all the cavities had gone away, my sensitivity and pain had gone away and my new xrays baffled my dentist and parents because it showed I did not have the cavities anymore.

Answer:	I don't notice any problem with it. I tried a flavored (caramel), non-pill (solid at room temp) form that I figured I could add to hot drinks. Now that was a bad idea! If you are bothered by the fishy taste/smell, simply refrigerate or even freeze. By the time it thaws/dissolves, it should be pretty far along in your digestive tract. Hope this helps!

Answer:	I've stuck with this brand for a while. The most economical! I eat plenty of fish also. Taking this every day(I only take 2 a day instead of the recommended 3) gives you a consistent level of fish oil(I don't eat fish every day). I think if you google the vitamin A amount in this product(255-900I.U) you'll see that's not a high dose at all.

Answer:	According to the Nordic Naturals website, "Made from 100% wild Arctic cod (Skrei)-no other fish oils or synthetic additives are ever used." It is also non-GMO verified. It does not "repeat" on you... no fishy taste! My Natruopath recommended this brand because the way this company processes the gels does not turn the oil rancid, which is what causes the fishy taste.

Answer:	I would guess that with the soft gel caps, you don't get any taste of fish oil at all. Even though this product is flavored, you do get a taste of fish oil. I have been using it for years and it doesn't bother me at all. I guess if you are adverse to fish taste, stick with the gel caps. But if you want good quality and with dha/epa that exceeds most caps and gels, get this product.

Answer:	Some sort of bubble gum flavorant (chemical), not specified. The amount of flavor is not too strong or too weak, but I suggest you agitate the bottle the first few times to guarantee it is spread throughout the cod liver oil.

Answer:	Hi Nicolaus - I don't think it does, but to be honest I'm not 100% sure. I actually have not used Carlson Lab's cod liver oil in a while for my kids, and I should probably get them back on it as we're about to go into cold/flu season! I don't have a bottle in front of me to double check the ingredients, but if you visit Carslon Lab's website directly, I think you can pull up an ingredient list. If memory serves, the only additive is the lemon flavoring... but I'm pretty sure it's natural lemon flavoring. Works wonders for children to take it with no complaints.

Answer:	Yes. Otherwise the skin would get mixed up with the chopped grlic. Chefn has a garlic peeler and there are those little rubber things that you put the garlic in and roll it on the counter. Peels great!
