Question:	Can you use this to measure windows for blinds
Answer:	The rangefinder has been calibrated by the factory. The user can turn on/off the feature that includes the length of the device itself in the displayed measurement for making interior measurements. I would use this device for estimating materials but not for cutting materials for length.
Question:	Does the laser work in dusty conditions outside
Answer:	Mine does not. Check your battery. Mine takes a reading and displays the measurement, turning itself off. If you keep the power key pressed for too long, it will also turn off. I hope it's nothing more than a battery issue. It took me a little bit of playing with to understand the design logic.
Question:	how do you connect the hand strap to the unit
Answer:	If its still the same error after the instrument has been turned on/off many times, please contact us on amazon.We will solve the problem for you.
Question:	does it laser level on a wall to hang pictures TVs straight
Answer:	Press the Memory Button directly to view the historical measurement data, and the last 20 measurement or calculated data will be displayed in reverse order

Question:	Is the Bluetooth open standards ? Will it work with other Apps or the Android SDK, or is it proprietary and only communicates with Bosch
Answer:	That depends on the size of the corner. The angle finder I have is 8.55 inches long and just under 1.4 inches wide when closed, so the corner must be large enough for the tool to fit inside. The pivot end has a radius slightly smaller than half the with of the two straight edges. You can make a mockup of the tool using the dimensions I have given here an the angle you need and see if it fits the corner you want.
Question:	will this measure height outdoors? ie from the ground to the top of a tree
Answer:	I have had to do a lot of atypical miters and how I do this is to cut one miter angle and them measure this angle to determine the other angle on the miter. This has worked well, but can difficult if you do not have the space needed to expand the Gem Red. Overall this is a remarkable tool that is very accurate. But I needed to buy a smaller digital angle finder to work in smaller spaces. After working with the digital, would never go back to non digital.
Question:	can this be set to measure in inches only and round to the nearest 1/8 or
Answer:	The measurements are etched, not printed.
Question:	What is the difference between the glm 50 c and the glm 50 cx
Answer:	It will continue counting beyond 360 if you keep rotating it. It goes forever.

Question:	does this tool have 1/4 ' thread for mounting to a tri pod
Answer:	It's quite good there but the range becomes limited.
Question:	Does it only measure in inches
Answer:	You shove the string loop through one of the holes. I had to use a paper clip to pull it through. Then stick the rest through the loop and pull it tight.
Question:	does it measure in decimals? for instance, NOT 10 ft 6 inches but 11.3 ft
Answer:	I tried to use it for that once and it didn't work out to well. I ended up measuring the distance to the ceiling in order to get it straight. Ultimatelyy when the eye falls on it it compares it to a straight line next to it which is usually the ceiling, making the ceiling a great guide to keep pictures straight

Answer:	Don't know about the pole - but I don't see why not though with 72" pole, it has to be really sturdy (and doesn't bend).
Question:	does it measure 1/16 in inches only dont need feet or meters
Answer:	No, you can not use D2 to measure water, glass
Question:	does it show fractions of an inch ( like 3/16 ) , or just decimals
Answer:	The D2 can take measurements in feet, inches, and meters.

Answer:	Most definitely, the E7500i can do everything the E7400x can do and then some. It is a much better unit with a built-in viewfinder.
Question:	Does it work with the hilti pd 72 extention pole
Answer:	you might be able to get the D810 or the S910 to connect to a windows phone like a bluetooth keyboard. Then it would just "type" in the dimensions as you take them. Then you would use it in any app that you can use a keyboard for. As far as a dedicated app as far as I know there isn't one.
Question:	Can the D2 tell me how far down the water level is from the top of my well...for ex, actual well 250 ft deep; water is 20 - 40 ft deep in the well

Answer:	Definitely a problem at distances over 15-20 feet. It depends on what color target you are using, and colored glasses can help. I was using mine recently to sight and measure distances in a track event from 70+ feet back of the target. I could not pick out the dot at that distance so I just used the camera with its crosshairs for every measurement (at 4X magnification). Problem solved.

Answer:	I have not had any issues with mine. Only had it for a couple of weeks, but every time I have needed it, it has worked.
