After you see the growth beginning to die back, we recommend mowing down the growth and clearing the debris. Your returning perennials, and any seed dropped by your annuals will need sunlight to germinate in the Spring, so leaving any cut debris on the ground will inhibit growth by blocking out needed sunlight. Answer:	Kitchen herbs are planted mid October. I can pot them around March and put them in my plant grow room. I then begin planting other things for out door gardening. Then those and the potted plants go in the ground. I can usually start one more crop for out doors.

Answer:	We germ test all our seeds, the results of that test are guaranteed for nine months. After that the germ rate may decline slightly. But with proper storage seeds can last for years. The key is to store them somewhere dry, dark and where they can be kept consistently cool.

Answer:	It may sound obvious enough, but choosing the most advantageous site on your property is a very important determinant in the eventual success of your wildflower meadow. The most important factors to consider in this regard are the amount of average daily sunlight, the relative quality of the soil, and the accessibility to a water source like a hose or a sprinkler. Though many wildflowers do tolerate some filtered shade — and a few actually thrive in it — the vast majorities are definitely sun-lovers and will likely demonstrate the strongest bloom where exposure is greatest. Therefore, the general rule of thumb when considering the optimum planting site on your property is “the more sun the better”. This means that areas with little or no tree coverage and as little obstruction from any structure such as a house, garage, or barn are best. Answer:	No, it is properly sealed to prevent that from happening. I have used it for years and I get so many compliments on my hair and I have never experienced any leaks.
