Answer:	I have no knowledge of Life Extension's sourcing of ingredients but cannot imagine how the ingredients contained in Bone Restore could be GMO as they are not animal based ingredients or plant based ingredients as far as I can tell.

Answer:	I researched this myself upon receipt of the product this afternoon. I suspect it is being used in this case as a preservative, and possibly to increase absorption. Milligram quantity is unknown. Maltodextrin has an even higher glycemic index (GI) than table sugar, which can cause a spike in blood sugar shortly after taking it if the content is high enough. It would be an excellent transparency move for the company to clarify the details here...

Answer:	Carl, it's a medium size soft gelatin capsule. Not a pill. So if you cannot swallow it you could open it. It's a white powder and you could just open it and tap it into your mouth -and then just drink -- or tap it into apple sauce or whatever. I think it's the best magnesium for heart brain etc.

Answer:	I don't represent the company (Life Extension) but I did some research and found a question posed to them on their Facebook page about it, and this is their response: Maltodextrin acts as a carrier for delicate molecules during manufacturing. During the drying process, it's role as a drying carrier helps to minimize the loss of important bioactive phytonutrients. Maltodextrins also help extend shelf life and reduce microbial contamination. We have not seen any scientific evidence in support of trace quantities of maltodextrin negatively impacting an individual’s health. The maltodextrin used in Life Extension brand supplements is highly purified and does not contain MSG. The amount of maltodextrin used in Life Extension supplements is a trace amount and is too small to be a significant source of carbohydrates in the diet. The calorie contribution form maltodextrin is negligible for capsules, tablets and softgels. Additionally I read from another online source that Life Extension's maltodextrin is non-GMO.
