Question:	Doctor recommend citracal 1200 slow release. nature's bounty are not slow release. is there a difference between them
Answer:	The difference I am aware of is that Citrical is calcium citrate and Natures bounty is calcium carbonate. Calcium carbonate is more common and cheaper. However, calcium citrate is more easily absorbed by the body. I have found through experience that it has fewer side effects (eg. constipation) and my doctor says that your bones benefit more from that form of calcium so the cost differential is worth it.
