| Answer: | There are two types of dietary fiber: Soluble fiber, which count towards carbs/calories, and Insoluble fiber which does not dissolve in water or gastrointestinal fluids and remains more or less unchanged as it moves through the digestive tract. Because it is not digested at all, insoluble fiber is not a source of calories/carbs. So there's at least one gram of insoluble fiber here per serving. This fiber/carb difference occurs in other some other hemp heart powders as well- if you check around. |
