Answer:	The bite valve itself is removable from the tube, but the valve to stop waterflow after the bite valve is removed (what the bite valve clicks into)shouldn't be, as I think it'd cause the tube to leak from that point on.

Answer:	This particular bite valve as it is? No. It uses a it's own Quick disconnect system.There is a "Hydration Upgrade Kit" intended for Source Bladers that lack the quick disconnect for the mouth piece.It comes with the storm valve and their Universal adapter piece (for filling from the tap or Water bottles via the drinking hose).Source also sells on it's own the SOURCE QUICK CONNECT on its own. There no grantee the QUICK CONNECT fits High Sierra's drinking hoses. The inside diameter of the horse needs to be 7 mm according to Source's website.
Question:	Will this actually shoot out water when the valve is depressed? I’d like to be able to fill my dogs bowl with water from my camelback resevoir
Answer:	When you turn it to unlock, then pull out, water will flow freely, as long as there is enough water in the bladder or pressure is placed on it when low.
Question:	Is this compatible with camelbak quick connect
Answer:	I have tried this with both the camelbak quick link and quick connect. It does NOT work with either. The valve will insert but it doesn't lock in place. The same is true with Katadyn and Osprey. If you want to use this on a Camelbak bladder, you have to buy the Source Tactical hose, which will work with a modern Camelbak. You can't just switch out the mouthpiece; I've tried it with three different quick connect system and it doesn't work.

Answer:	The longest brush is still a few inches too short for my drinking tube. But it works ok. I stick the drying frame into my 3-liter water bladder to accelerate the drying process.

Answer:	It just cleans the tube. It does work very well. After cleaning the tube, I just hang the tube upside down to let it dry OR put it in the freezer to keep it from getting mold inside of it.

Answer:	Yes, the hanger is made from plastic, though it is a sturdy plastic.

Answer:	Yes, it comes with a mesh bag that everything fits in, and you can hang to dry the kit supplies in.
Question:	Is this necessary or are you able to clean it with something else? Another brand
Answer:	I really like the cleaning brushes, they help you get into corners. The hanger to me seems upside down. That being said I would think another brand would work too.

Question:	Can you remove the bite valve so you don't have to bite for water to come out
Answer:	I have always been told that items like carbonated beverages or alcohol will ruin these by chemically reacting with the plastic bladder material. Other items, like the flavored sweetened water, will leave a taste within that bladder no matter how hard you clean it. I would almost think you would buy separate bladders and dedicate them to each liquid. 1. Water 2. Flavored beverages 3. Carbonation or Alcohol Just my thoughts and what I have learned
