Answer:	Electronic retailers like Best Buy should have these for sale. Just bring in the old one to make sure you get the right size.

Answer:	My dad is 97 and doesn’t wear hearing aids and is really hard of hearing so we sit beside his bed and talk directly into the microphone at a volume of 5 which is half way to top volume of 10. The cord isn’t very long so you would have to sit it in your lap. I would think an earpiece like the hunters use in the woods to hear deer would work better. They are recommending these ear pieces to women when jogging to hear people in the woods and behind them.

Answer:	I have the Ultra mobel w/ behind the ear phonrs. (I can no longer drive the distance to my HA audiologist, & lost one, & he suggested the Pocketalker as a temporary solution. It works better than the hearins aids did!) As to cocleag implants, I suggest consult w/ a GOOG audiologist (not 1 w/ agenda of selling you their brand of hearing aids). There are some bone contact hearing devices that might be better for you, but am not sure. My hearing required the best HAs available at the ime (8 yrs ago), and coclear was the next step. But the "Talker" works really well for me. The mic works best at 8-10 inched, DIRECTLY pointed at the sound source, with more distant sounds not well heard by me. Answer:	Yes you can. I purchased the Olympus ME-52W microphone with the PockeTalker and then bought a longer cord from a local supplier. Make sure the cord is male- to- female not male-to-male. I would think any 3.5 mono mic. would work. You may also need a male to female or female to female jack. Hope this helps.

There are two modes, one is the built-in mic, the other is the remote mic. Press the round button on the neckband to toggle the two modes. You will hear two beeps when you are in remote mic mode. You need to pair the remote mic to the neckband if they lost connection.

Multiple Audio Out Ports Supports

Compatible with most TVs on the market, the SIMOLIO SM-621D supports Optical, RCA and 3.5 mm / AUX audio outputs. For Optical connection, make sure the audio format of your TV/TV related AV device must be set to “PCM”.

For RCA connection, make sure the RCA ports are labeled as ”AUDIO OUT/OUTPUT/AV OUT”.

For 3.5mm/AUX connection, it’s better to try it with a wired headphone to see whether it will disable your TV internal speakers. For TVs with only Optical audio out and occupied by a sound bar, you will need to purchase an optical splitter for installation.

For TVs with only Coaxial output, you will need to purchase a Digital to Analog Audio Converter for installation.

For TVs with only HDMI (ARC) audio out, you will need to purchase an HDMI to RCA converter for installation.

For AV receivers with a 6.35mm phone jack at the front, you will need to purchase a 6.35mm to 3.5mm audio adapter for installation.

TV Sound Out and Audio Format Setting

For TVs that support only single sound out, we don’t recommend to use this SIMOLIO unit to watch tv together with your family. Unless you have a sound bar + splitter.

For some TVs, you can play audio through TV internal speakers and an external audio device simultaneously by setting the “Sound Out” to “Internal TV Speaker + Audio Out(Optical)”. For digital optical connection, make sure to set your TV/TV related AV device’s audio format to PCM. Dolby / DTS is not supported. The menus for sound out and audio format setting are not the same from different TV brands. please refer to your TV manual for details.

TV & TV Related AV Devices' Volume Setting

Sufficient sound output is needed to ensure Simolio working properly.

VOL.1 > 40%, VOL.2 > 30%, just for your reference. The bigger the VOL.1 and VOL.2, the better the S/N (Signal-to-Noise) of your Simolio unit.

Usually we suggest to fix the VOL.1 to a sufficient level, and adjust VOL.2 to control TV's volume.

If the audio output signal is too weak, it will cause the following problems:

1. no sound from the speaker
2. the sound of the speaker cuts in and out
3. the speaker automatically shuts off every few minutes
