Answer:	It depends on what you mean by moisture. If you mean a puddle of water, then no. If you mean some dry cat food that got water splashed on it by an overzealous drinker at the water bowl and is now the softness of sliced bread or some damp sand trekked in from outside, then yes - I've had no problems with either.

Answer:	Hi June - The 1831 has a new motor and the TurboBrush holder has been moved to the front of the vacuum.
Question:	Does the agitator turn off when the handle is upright
Answer:	I don't know as my housekeeper does all the cleaning; but she says the Bissell 1831 is the BEST she has used. The Carpets ARE CLEAN.
Question:	Is it easy to clean clogs out of the hose
Answer:	I have 3 big dogs and it is much easier to clear the hose with a broom handle than most vacuums. I have had to take it apart under the vacuum a few times to clean the bristles and un-clog the base of the hose by the bristles. Thankfully all the screws are the same type so it's easy to do. To clear the base of the hose under the vacuum i just pushed the screwdriver through and it cleared it, I've only had to clear the bottom hose twice in the two years I've had it.
Question:	What does vacuum only mean? I see it has the filters but does it have the basic attachments

Answer:	Not sure of the exact length of the hose but can reach the ceiling easily for cobwebs and such.

Answer:	The Bissell site says 1 year commercial. I do not really see anything that will go wrong with it in that time. We use it at home. It is well built and simple. Question:	Where's the charger base? Sold separately
Answer:	Same as others, there is no charger base. It's electric, not battery. Has a very long cord. When you lift it off the base to use with attachments, the cord is attached to the part that lifts off.
Question:	Can I clean my car with this
Answer:	I'm not sure with this one .I've not yet to try that . You can try it but you only have so hose you would have to sit the vacuum cleaner on the inside of your car. I watched a video of this before I made my decision and it showed that you can remove the canister off to do stairs and remove dust from different area but I have not tried that yet. It only comes with 2 attachments.I really like it because l can see what I'm vacuum up. And helps me with allergies. Good Luck!

Answer:	I recently purchased the Powerglide and am very pleased with how easily and effectively it cleaned my stairs which tend to accumulate a lot of dust and dog hair. since my dog does not sit on my furniture, I'm not sure how well the attachment works but I can well assume it will do a good job.
