Answer:	It's a plastic case. Pretty standard stuff not super hard, not super soft. The back is a pretty hefty mesh bag.

Answer:	I doubt it. It is a set of flatware with case. The utensils nest inside very specifically. I was hoping to use the case for other utensils as well, but my knives don’t fit

Answer:	Yes I have been using the black one for years. Its all good. I put even in top rack dishwasher.

Answer:	Yes!!! The case is super easy to clean and extremely durable. My husband works in construction so it always comes home covered in dirt and is left outside in the Arizona heat for 8+ hours a day and even has been dropped quite a few times. It is a great case and can withstand a lot. When it comes time to washing it any dirt on the outside and any food bits or sauce on the inside that end up stuck to it, come off very easily. The silverware is great as well, very heavy duty!!

Made of high quality stainless steel, our cutlery sets are dishwasher safe. However, to keep the shine and new look of your cutlery, it is always suggested to hand wash and use the soft part of the sponge.

If you wash your cutlery in the dishwasher and to prevent appearance of stains:

1/ Always rinse your cutlery after use and before putting them in the dishwasher.

2/ Salt, lemon, vinegar, bleach and aggressive cleaning agents can cause stains or alterations.

3/ Use the recommended amount of detergent and rinse aid, both of which may be corrosive if used in excess.

4/ When the cycle is finished, open the dishwasher door to avoid condensation on the cutlery.

5/ Take out the cutlery just after the wash cycle and dry with a cloth or a soft cloth.
