The clear, plastic bottoms are clear, hard and very sturdy. The tops fit very snugly and allow you to ‘burp’ them’ as do Tupperware does but are better made. The hard clear plastic containers are easy to identify what you have stored inside them where Tupperware as I remember them were not translucent and you had to open them to see the contents or label them to let you know the contents and storage date. Overall, these are simply the best money can buy. These are nine (9) cups in size and are very large. The make other sizes that are smaller and maybe larger to fit your needs. Personally, whenever my wife or I need a storage container, these are the ones we buy, without question. |

| Answer: | Mine came with a 50-foot, orange extension cord that is removable if you prefer a shorter cord. It is NOT attached to the vacuum innards. That cord is only about 8 to 12 inches long. The cord is held together with a rubber loop connector that prevents it from pulling apart. I do not know what kind of cubic foot per minute (CFM) the vacuum produces, but it's adequate for my wood floors. The Hoover motor is a 120-volt, 60 HZ, 8.5 amp motor. If my high school physics memory is correct, volts X amps equals watts, so it's a 1,020 watt motor. While vacuuming, I also use an FM radio/MP3 Player noise-canceling headset I got for Christmas last year. It came from Home Depot for $29. It works fine and protects my hearing. I use it when blowing leaves, power spraying, operating my table and miter saws, etc. Hope this helps. |

| Answer: | I have a cat so hair is a major problem for me. The Smartwash does pick up the hair and it can get stuck in the nozzle going to the dirty water tank. The brushes will stop. But it is fairly easy to clean both the nozzle and brushes. It is easy to disconnect the pieces to clean. This machine does a good job of cleaning. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. I do recommend that you follow the rinse instructions after using the cleaner. It rinses the carpet to remove the cleaning solution from the rug. All you do is remove the bottle with the cleaner solution and go over the carpet again with just clean water. |
