Answer:	I struggle with all soaps drying my hands. And if I do dishes one time, I have rough, dry, sandpaper hands. I have washed dishes by hand about 6 times in the past 24 hours and no dishpan hands!!

Answer:	Mrs Meyers is not organic. It's manufactured using many natural ingredients. There's a difference between organic and natural. Here's a link listed on the back of the bottle to a glossary of ingredients in the dish detergent and where each comes from: mrsmeyers.com/ingredients-glossary It lists the ingredients and where they come from. Be aware that even natural and natural organic ingredients can be damaging to your garden plants and soil. For example some essential oils are not safe to add to natural homemade pest sprays and others can be very beneficial. If you're suffering a serious drought and you have no other source of water for your garden and there's nothing else to eat if you don't have a garden then I'd take a chance. Otherwise, I'd be sure to research every ingredient listed for this detergent before watering my organic garden with it especially if you're planning on doing it on a regular basis. For some ingredients there's the issue of buildup in the soil. Using the water might be fine but there's no way of knowing without checking out each ingredient and reseaching it's effects on plants and soil. Don't believe anyone who tells you it's fine to water your plants on a regular basis with dish water without knowing what's in it.

Instructions for use:

Put a few drops of Dishmate on a clean sponge, brush, or washing cloth after wetting. Then scrub and rinse dishes. To lift and loosen stuck-on food residue or set-in grease stains, fill pot or pan with hot water and a few drops of Dishmate. Let sit for 24 hours. Then dump water/soap mixture into the sink and wipe down the affected pot or pan. For soaking smaller dishes, fill your sink (or a very large pot) with hot water and a few drops of Dishmate. Put the affected dish into the water/soap mixture, and let soak for no more than 24 hours.

Answer:	Both, but you may not be able to get the Utra-Dishmate much longer. I certainly don't have the whole story. In brief, the Earth Friendly Products company is a family held company that manufactures "safer", largely plant based, earth friendly products, in an environmentally friendly way, at 4 facilities in the US. (They have an office in Greece- this is a Greek-American family and the products are sold in many countries around the world.) The business is evolving. It made/makes products under the brand names "Earth Friendly Products" and "ECOS" products. It is rebranding the Earth Friendly Products as ECOS and I believe intends all its products to be under the same brand, ECOS. Earth Friendly Products Ultra Dishmate and ECOS Dishmate have slightly different formulas. The surfactant cleaners in these products are coconut derived (sodium Coco sulfate, Cocamidoproplyamine oxide, Coco Betaine) and are listed in a different order on the different products, which usually means they are in different amounts in each product. The ingredients are usually listed in order of the amount in the product. So Earth Friendly Products Ultra Dishmate has more Coco Betaine and ECOS Dishmate has more sodium Coco Sulfate, etc. Both have other ingredients: preservatives, fragrance.... Earth Friendly Products has an antibacterial preservative, methylisothiazolinone (MIT), in it. The ECOS product does not have it but has other preservatives. MIT is a chemically synthesized compound that is very widely used in water-soluble cleaners and other products to prevent bacterial/ fungal growth in the solution. In recent years, it has been shown that it can be an allergen and a skin irritant in high concentrations when left on the skin. MIT can also kill cells in culture but remember it is supposed to kill bacteria and fungi. The concentrations in the Earth Friendly Ultra Dishmate are not in the range that usually causes problems and Ultra Dishmate is not intended to be left on the skin. However, the company removed MIT from their products and reformulated some to use other preservatives. You may read that the Earth Friendly company removed the MIT from its products because of a class action suit. This was filed by some folks, one of whom got a nasty skin reaction to one of the Earth Friendly laundry detergents. The suit was on the basis that the company labeled its product "All Natural" and yet it contained a preservative, MIT that was chemically synthesized. The Earth Friendly Products company voluntarily settled and voluntarily agreed to remove MIT from its products, to reformulate and to change the labeling so it didn't say "All Natural "or "100% Natural". (It is common practice for manufactures to include small amounts of preservatives, etc, in their products and they may not even necessarily include them on the label as Earth Friendly Products does.) This is a good company: they pay their employees double the going minimum wage, make significant charitable contributions, don't test on animals, exclude known problem ingredients (1,4-dioxane, cocamide-DEA, etc), use 100% renewable energy to power their plants, and manufacture with "minimized waste". I like Dishmate enough to buy it on line when I can't get it in my local supermarket, it works and I have never had any problem.

Answer:	I don't see anything on the packaging saying it is, unfortunately. It's recyclable #7 OTHER- we have to take ours to the supermarkets that recycle plastic bags. I wish they'd make it in cardboard cartons instead of plastic. But I have to say, of all the natural dish soap refills I have tried, this is the best quality product.

I suppose you could leave the flip open and let the container sit upright & then just turn it over and squeeze cleaner out with one hand, it doesn’t have a pump... I really like the cleaner... The bottle is pretty big so put some in a smaller container & that works well for me... then just keep refilling my smaller bottle... great suds, degreaser & smells nice...

Question:	How man items come in these packs. It says 1 pack 2 count, but the page title says 3-count. Am I getting 2 or 3 bottles
Answer:	That cycle may allow the product to be slightly more effective. We have heard from some users who have said the did this and were happy with the results. Anytime you get your machine to work in concert with our cleaner, the end result should be better. Remember to always do another regular load of laundry using your detergent so any foul odors may be rinsed away after we disturb the bio-contaminants with the Ahh-Some Cleaner & Deodorizer.
Question:	Is this SLS-free
Answer:	I have a front loading machine and it works quite well. I would imagine that it would work the same for a top loading machine.
Question:	Is this soap antibacterial? What about cleaning dishes that have held raw chicken, etc
Answer:	Loose packed. But, but it is the same Tide product as the 3-pack box.
Question:	Which of these dish soaps smell best
Answer:	I does NOT smell like bleach, however, it does have a very strong, clean smell, almost like an industrial clean. This is fine for me because I want my machine clean. This item has been the #1 product to deal with any kind of smell coming from a front load washer. I would suggest running a rinse cycle after to dilute the scent left behind and get rid of any possible residual cleaning debris. Leave the door open afterward and the smell will dissipate after a few days, the drum will remain smelling clean without any moldy or mildew odor. The product works. Those complaining just don't want to wait a bit to use the machine again or run a rinse cycle after, which is fine, that's their preference. I have used many machine cleaning products, none work like this and the ones with pretty scents leave a film all over the machine and cause more mold to accumulate.

Question:	Is it normal to have yellow moldy precipitates at the bottom
Answer:	Hi Hsin-Jung: It is normal to see pink concentrations at the bottom of our dish soap bottles. These are not mold, but actually the Pink Himalayan Sea Salt settling. This concentration at the bottom will not affect the performance. To improve the appearance, simply shake the bottle rigorously for 10 seconds. Being a natural product, there will be subtle differences in appearances and you may see small variations in the solution. The main ingredient that classifies soaps as anti-bacterial is triclosan; ours does NOT contain triclosan.
