| Answer: | 28 inches wide internally at its widest point. The tank is 18 inches wide inside from indentation to indentation. You can see one indentation in the phone at the bottom. But the rest of the tank internally is 24 inches on the floor, and 28 inches up above. It is internally 49 inches long. Add an inch and a half all around for the lip. I saw the conflicting numbers also, but that is the deal. 24 inches onthe floor where there are no indentations, and 28 inches internally up above at the lip. The tank tapers down. |

| Answer: | The box itself is very sturdy. The lids less so. I have had three of those crack/tear along the edge (out of around 50), simply from having a stack of these boxes on top of eachother. Two that have failed hasn't had more than 100-130lbs of weight placed gently on top of them. They seem to have broken when the storage space heated up after the winter (it's a "heated space" so no freezing, but it still gets hotter once the sun starts beating down in spring.) Kind of annoying to find three boxes having fallen forward from the wall and onto the floor, and the bottom one they rested on having the lid fail. The last of the three broke during some fairy rough (but not really "brutish") transfer onto a truck bed, so perhaps less alarmingly.The lids are fairly thin. Not flimsy like a lot of the non "commercial" exercises in pure cost cutting that is for sale. But definitely an area I would make a mil or so thicker if I could, as they don't quite live up to what I think of as "Brute" use. |

| Answer: | 28 inches wide internally at its widest point. The tank is 18 inches wide inside from indentation to indentation. You can see one indentation in the phone at the bottom. But the rest of the tank internally is 24 inches on the floor, and 28 inches up above. It is internally 49 inches long. Add an inch and a half all around for the lip. I saw the conflicting numbers also, but that is the deal. 24 inches onthe floor where there are no indentations, and 28 inches internally up above at the lip. The tank tapers down. |

| Answer: | I'm fairly certain it holds 21 quarts considering I have been keeping fish for over 44 years. I took all the dimensions given and rounded down. Considering there are 231 cubic inches in a gallon of water and considering 15 x 12 x 7 = 1260 cubic inches, and considering 1260 divided by 231 = 5,45 GALLONS... which is 5.45 X 4 = 21.8 QUARTS! I really don't have a clue where the manufacturer got their 15.6 quarts from that they list. The formulas I used would require that the shape be cubic with all corner angles being at 90 degrees, but as you can see by the provided product photo that there is very little taper, and most certainly not enough to account for a 6 quart difference! |
