Answer:	if you have any doubts i found a good pair its used by construction workers to drown out harmful noises. I am on the spectrum so I have noise sensitivity issues. if the child can't stand anything in his ear like earplugs. then get a construction grade headphones. I use them to down out the other people in my house or my rude neighbor that blasts talk radio. I got mine around 40$ at a true value hardware store ( I think its a new England store) hope this helps good luck

Answer:	Absolutely, pairing is automatic from second use on. This is the best headphone I have ever got on Amazon because of its pretty stable, fast and easy connection. Answer:	Having bought a number of LED headlamps, brightness is important. First, 360 over 315 or even 260 isn't a big draw. Second, the important factors are reliability and battery life. Some manufacturers do better than others, top ones Petzl and Black Diamond ... similar to LED household bulb efficiencies (lumens/watt). But let's say they are all equal in efficiency. This means a 360 lumen lamp will use much more than a 260, so if the 260 is 'plenty good', fewer batteries to buy. Think of this as a battery eater ... like razor blades, film (dating myself), printer cartridges. It may not be the razor or camera that is the dollar drain, it's the batteries. Even if you buy a 360, it should have a lower setting that is usable because your batteries will be eaten slower.

Question:	Would this work to drown out barking dogs in the neighborhood
Answer:	It depends on how close and loud the dogs are. I have used one of these since I was a kid and your mind focuses on the white noise that it produces and ignores all but the harshest of outside noise. We had a car slam into three parked cars across the street form our home and didn't know it happened until the next day and saw the destruction. It will certainly help.
Question:	Does the machine have a headphone jack
Answer:	The machine is not up to snuff. The motor goes out and starts squealing after after a few weeks. This machine is a power hog and it doesn't mask sounds well. Old technology. You have better options. Buy a reputable brand and check Fakespot
Question:	How loud is it? I need something decently loud for my newborn
Answer:	There are two setting for the noise based on if you push the switch up or down. I use the louder setting at night and when I was in college I would use the lower setting when studying to drown out noises. I think it is definitely loud enough. Hope that helps :)
