Answer:	No. That takes a special type of light. This is a regular light in this device that does not have that capability.

Answer:	I can't help you with the Android question, but I can steer you away from this. The iPhone app is truly useless and without that the device is complicated at best and nonfunctional at worst. I would return it if I could, but by the time I gave up trying to program and use it, it was past the return cutoff date.
