Answer:	The liquid bottle is just cranberry extract. The tablets are 2 ingredients, one is antibiotic and the second one is an analgesic. The ideal thing is to use both unitl you see a doctor and have your urine tested.

Answer:	I work in a lab that does DMAC tests for cranberry PAC and anti-adhesion activity test. I have seen Azo cranberry (Pacran) tested multiple times. It always has very low PAC content, less than 2 mg. It also always tests very poorly for anti-adhesion activity. Anti-adhesion activity is how well it prevents the bacteria from infecting your urinary tract. This is because it is made from "whole berry". All "whole berry' products test poorly. The PAC are bound to the "whole berry" parts so they cannot bind to bacteria that cause UTIs. Only cranberry PAC cause anti-adhesion. The other parts of the cranberry may have health benefits but they do not help prevent UTIs. The cranberry supplements that test the best by far are (extracted) made from only pure cranberry juice.

Answer:	I buy Zazzee brand D-Mannose and the only thing possibly corn-based is magnesium stearate which they cite as a vegetable source, and cellulose for the vegetarian capsule. I quit buying the brand you selected because the taste made me gag. The Zazzee brand has no flavor/taste so it’s perfect!

Answer:	First the applicator has been known to rip your inflamed, tender insides. They are not very forgiving in such a tender area. The 1 or 3 day versions have the strongest concentration of med. Yes burning in the beginning is common... it's an infection and the tissues are inflamed. You do not have to have itching on the outside for the infection to be rip roaring on the inside. Douching will only make the infection worse and Vinegar on inflamed tissue is not helpful either. Douching clearing out more good bacteria... is bad news you don't want to be even more unbalanced. In the 7 day treatment burning at the start subsides in max an hour for me and only on the 1st or 2nd day. I unfortunately have a lot of experience with this issue due to chronic antibiotic use. This medication is the only one that works for me. If on the 7 day treatment it's "unbearable" for more than an hour you really need to get into your doctor and get checked out. Immerse Strip Into Urine

You can simply urinate on the test strip or urinate into a urine sample cup and then immerse the strip into the collected urine. Please make sure that the test strip does not contact urine for more than 2 seconds.

Hold Horizontal for 60 Seconds

Once the test strip has contacted urine you must hold it horizontal so that the color pads do not bleed on to each other and skew results. Wait for 60 seconds for the reactions on the color pads to take place.

Read the Results

Answer:	My boxes say 99.5. I can’t get an Rx for this as it’s “OTC” so insurances won’t pay. This is the best deal, contains no lactose and works effectively. Best of luck in your search! Itcsn be frustrating.

Question:	Can this be taken with antibiotics? My kitty is miserable and has a very bad infection. Vet gave meds but hoping this will speed up healing
Answer:	You can use it with the antibiotic therapy but homeopathy does work better by itself. Maybe once you are done with the antibiotics then start the Homeopet item. Also the diet and type of water used will influence the results now and especially long term. Try distilled water for a time!

Answer:	Sometimes it's best to ask the manufacturer - HomeoPet products have a shelf life of 14 years. Because the shelf life is so long the FDA does not require us to list the expiration date, and because the packaging is so small we did use the space for more pertinent information about the product. HomeoPet UTI+ was first introduced into the market in July 2013 and has quickly become a strong seller. On the off chance that you have a bottle from the first batch it will not expire until 2027 - anything newer would of course be valid longer.

Answer:	I think it worked to a small degree (my cat only had a minor infection) but if its major infection, you would be better off to go to vet to be on the safe side.

Answer:	Have used product for over a yr on 14 yr old kitty with history of severe UTI issues & after over $1,000.00 in vet bills. Follow instructions on bottle & dose 1 dose every 15 mins for a total of 3 doses if cat is in obvious distress & doing little squats every where but can't wee much. Question:	This is for my wife. We can't test while she is urinating, so can we dip the test strips in a sterile collection container
Answer:	I have to Cath in a bag so as I'm pouring urine out I run the test strip under it and it works just fine. The only difference between my bags and the container you're probably using is my bags are sterile so I'd make sure you use a clean container so the test isn't contaminated.
Question:	Will this test detect an e coli urinary tract infection
Answer:	It did for me and it has for my mother. But that said, it does not show what bacteria is causing the infection - only that you have one. My doctor sent a urine culture to the lab and e coli came back as one of the infecting agents. The strip used at the doctor's office came back negative even though I had a terrible infection so I trust AZO.
Question:	Do these expire
Answer:	They do have an expiration date. In my experience, you usually have between a year and two years before they are expired. They are very reliable, as far as the test results.
Question:	Why did the azo strip test turn purple hrs afyer testimg
Answer:	Disregard that. The test is accurate and valid only minutes after testing and the strip should be disposed of right after that. It is meaningless what color it turns hours later, just a chemical reaction to air.
