I have had no problems with the computer overheating with the plastic top and bottom of the case in place. Love this product and everything that came with it...great value for the price!!!

Answer:	The slot makes my tablet lean fall forward in the slot so the slot is useless. The desk needs to be redesigned to permit the slot to angle further back. To use it as it is presently designed, you have to be seated in an upright position with feet on the floor to use this desk to view a tablet. Put your feet up in a recliner and you can type while looking at your tablet facing the desk and not viewable. Also, the front bottom cushion is almost miniscule compared with the front cushion. $60 for this when it should cost $20 with a redesign.

Answer:	No, you cannot remove it. It is a bit higher than others I have had. It is not very squishy but it is not terribly hard either. I had heard negative reviews of other products where the wrist guard was very hard and uncomfortable. This one is probably somewhere in the middle. The first few days I was very aware of it as I had not had one previously. However, as time as gone one, I notice it less. I do think "dips" are settling in as my wrists seem to be in the same place all of the tie. Don't know how this will be over time - good or bad?? But, I do find my hands/fingers, etc are much less achy (maybe that is not the right word exactly) than when I use my iPad or previously on my laptop where I do not have any wrist elevation. So, think that is good, so far. All in all, this lap desk is working fine for me. But, I do think that it is all a matter of personal preference so what works for me might not work for someone else.

Question:	Has anyone else had issues with this hub causing the wifi to drop
Answer:	I was having the exact same problem, as soon as I plugged in the adapter my WiFi I would drop. Apparently it is a known issue with Apple and adapters. There is a YouTube video that gives a simple fix of wrapping aluminum foil around the cord of the adapter. The fix works but I was not happy with using aluminum foil after paying as much as I did for my new MacBook Pro. I spent over an hour on the phone with Apple support and after doing several resets the NVRAM reset worked.
