Answer:	That depends on how long a person's hair is. For men, you could certainly do 2 treatments. For shoulder length or longer hair, at least 2/3 of the can will be used because you have to saturate the hair.

Answer:	The package says 15 minutes. After we got all her hair saturated, we gave it 20 minutes just to be sure. But you do need to treat again 10 days later. One application didn't do it either time, but twice with the second application 10 days after the first did. Both times she got it at school so maybe she was getting reexposed? Not sure. I just know we had to treat twice.

Answer:	I prefer the tube. More control, less waste. Pump is a metered dose that's a pretty big glob. Abreva works best if you get started at earliest sign of flare-up.

Answer:	I wear a cotton mask and have absolutely NO problems with it having any effect on the patch. My patch is not on my lip so I'm not sure whether the location of the patch relative to the mask would make a difference. The patch has worked wonderfully for me and I hope it works well for others.
Question:	How many vials can one use ina day
Answer:	It will always be different for each individual. Depends on your breakout and usual healing cycle. On my top lip, I rubbed tea tree oil and placed the patch on as soon as I felt the tingling. Nothing formed and it went away within 24 hrs. The other breakout on my bottom lip lasted around 5 days but the patch definitely protected it and absorbed the fluid from it.

1. Break To Release The Medication

Slide-off to remove the protective blue paper cover and slide it on the other end – opposite the white applicator tip.

Squeeze the vial firmly on the arrow shown on the protective blue paper cap until you hear it snap.

I hope it works. One tip before you do that, if the cold sore is still fresh and there if you remove it you might also bother it and stay longer, so just be careful. This thing works and if I leave it for up to three days on the sore actually heal fast!
Question:	Difference between Zilactin and Zilactin-B
Answer:	I've only used Zilactin-B, but may try this one as well. Zilactin-B is dark brown and makes a heavy crust over the sore. If the area is dry when applied, It stays in place well. This Zilactin appears to be clear and I'm unsure whether it makes a "shell" over the sore or not. I usually only get canker sores inside my mouth, but have started getting them outside and want a clear gel. Zilactin has been a God-send for me as I get terrible outbreaks.

Answer:	Yes you can partially depress pump ... but its hard to remember to do. I end up putting a small amount in a container and use from that. Several of us at wk get cold sores so we never use from container as we share it.
