Answer:	It works fine. I recommend a support belt of some kind because you are more prone to a hernia after the surgery. (I know this because I got one from lifting too much 2 years after my surgery) You don't want to go through that surgery.

Answer:	My wife hand washes this for me every so often as needed. We've never been brave enough to stick it in the washer or dryer. She makes a hot water and laundry soap bath in the sink and scrubs it with one of those brushes that you would use to get your fingernails clean. She then rinses it, wrings it out and hangs it to dry. It dries easily overnight. Hope this helps.

Question:	How do you wear it? Over the bag
Answer:	The bag goes thru the hole. It can be tucked in but the person I bought this for has a lot of gas and it blows up even with the filter so he places the bag thru the hole and hangs out. He feels supported in his abdominal area. His surgery was less than 2 months ago so his muscles are pretty weak.

Answer:	it is adjustable as far as the Velcro straps let you We found it a bit tight for a 3 1/4. But it would work. The belt rides up a little but ease to put back down. Just the back rids up if you are real active and bending and picking stuff up a lot. iIt fits very comfortable, no pinching or scratchy edges on the skin. I hope this helps a little. it washes up very well.
