8 best adolphs meat tenderizers

Adolph's Meat Tenderizer is a well-known brand of seasoning and meat tenderizing products. They specialize in creating products that help enhance the flavor and tenderness of various meats. Here's what you need to know about Adolph's Meat Tenderizer:

  1. Purpose: Adolph's Meat Tenderizer is primarily used to tenderize meat.It contains enzymes that break down the meat's connective tissues, making it softer and easier to chew. This is especially useful for tougher cuts of meat.

  2. Ingredients: The main active ingredient in Adolph's Meat Tenderizer is typically papain, an enzyme derived from papayas. Papain helps break down proteins in meat, which can result in a more tender texture.

  3. Flavor Enhancement: In addition to tenderizing meat, Adolph's Meat Tenderizer often contains a blend of spices and seasonings that add flavor to the meat. This can include ingredients like salt, garlic, onion, and various herbs and spices.

  4. Application: Adolph's Meat Tenderizer is usually applied by sprinkling it evenly over the surface of the meat. It's then recommended to let the meat sit for a period of time to allow the enzymes to work their magic. The exact instructions for application can vary depending on the product and the type of meat.

  5. Meat Types: Adolph's Meat Tenderizer can be used on a variety of meats, including beef, pork, chicken, and lamb. It's especially useful for tougher cuts of meat that may benefit from additional tenderizing.

  6. Cooking Methods: After using the tenderizer, you can cook the meat using your preferred method, such as grilling, roasting, or pan-frying. The tenderized meat is often more forgiving during cooking and is less likely to become tough or chewy.

  7. Variety of Products: Adolph's offers a range of meat tenderizing and seasoning products, including different formulations and flavors to suit various culinary preferences. Some products may also be designed for specific types of dishes, such as marinades or rubs.

  8. Availability: Adolph's Meat Tenderizer and related products are widely available in grocery stores and online retailers, making it accessible to home cooks and professional chefs alike.

In summary, Adolph's Meat Tenderizer is a brand known for its meat tenderizing products that use enzymes like papain to make meat more tender and flavorful. It can be a helpful addition to your pantry, especially when working with tougher cuts of meat or when you want to infuse your dishes with additional flavor. Always follow the specific instructions on the product's packaging for best results when using Adolph's Meat Tenderizer.

User questions & answers

Question: What is the difference between Adloph's Original Meat Tenderizing Marinade and Adolph's Marinade in Minutes Original Meat Marinade
Answer: I think it has to be the time involved with the Original. The Marinade in Minutes literally takes just minutes to marinate and tenderize. But, I have used the Marinate in Minutes. Good luck, you should enjoy the Minutes.
Question: How many packs do you get for the price
Answer: one packet of Adolph's meat marinade will marinade 1 to 2 1/2 lbs of meat. I researched it on Amazon and a pack of 8 runs around $20. And you can by one pack at a time but it may be more costly per pckg. Adolph's may seem high priced, but I can tell you from experience that it's well worth the cost. The taste and the tenderness of your meat after using the Adolph's brand of meat marinade well it's just worth the extra the price. To prepare your meat just pound it with a meat tenderizing utensil or if you don't have one just use a fork to poke holes into the meat, that way it can soak up the marinade and get tender. If you want to use the marinade when you cook your meat, make sure to leave some out in a container. Any marinade on the raw meat is to be drained off prior to cooking. If you use a baggy like a ziploc it's so easy to just put the meat and marinade in it and place in your frig. I've found that the marinade thickens up and you can turn the meat around to marinade all sides without a mess. Then just drain off the marinade from the meat, discard it, and you're good to go grilling or however you want to cook your meat. I'm sorry about the extra information but I just couldn't stop myself from talking about it. We use to buy it by the 20 packets price and use it all summer; it's so great for grilling! Hope I helped you out....Bev

Question: Does this contain msg? i am actually looking for the original adolph's with msg
Answer: Some loaded Questions here :) first off this is not medical advice. This is simple nutritional info and not intended to replace your doctor. I would suggest you buy "Dead doctors don't lie" or "Let's play herbal doctor" These books will educate you on mineral deficiencies and empower you to take control of your own health. The osteo fx helps with Calcium deficiency diseases. The Classic is for overall health and contains the same formula as the osteo fx but has added vitamins minerals and amino acids. The plant derived minerals is just the spectrum of plant minerals for overall health but does not contain any vitamins or amino acids. Hope this helps!People have noticed better sleep when they take the minerals etc. There are over 900+ diseases that are directly clinically correlated to mineral deficiencies. Many of which are related to calcium deficiencies. It's no wonder that a good high quality calcium product from Dr. Wallach could go a long ways for People.
Question: contents of tenderizer
Answer: Hi Paul,Veronica is spot on. The differences are in the ingredients. The full answer requires about 1/4 of a book, NUTRITION REVOLUTION.Osteo fx is high in calcium and the co-factors that help harder tissues be healthy and regrow (bones, cartilage, disks, etc.) Plant derived minerals have the 60+ minerals needed for health. Missing are the vitamins, amino acids and essential fatty acids. It doesn't provide all of the calcium we need, so we add calcium.Ultimate Classic has all of the minerals, with vitamins and other nutrients added.Hope that helps. Question: can adolphs be used to tenderize tough lobster tail
Answer: Albert Salt, Sugar, Corn Starch (Prevents Caking), Bromelain (Tenderizer).Blaford's Corner
Question: How much salt is in this stuff
Answer: Ingredients for the original and unseasoned version of Adolph's in the order listed on the bottle: salt, sugar, corn starch (prevents caking), and bromelain (tenderizer). Also on the label it said "Adolph's has no MSG and no artificial colors or flavors." It's made by Lowry's Foods and questions answered at 1-800-9LAWRYS or at lawrys.com .
Question: does it make rib eyes tender
Answer: I found an answer somewhere in the internet but I forgot. The size of your dog matters. I have a 80+ lb German Shepherd. I sprinkle a little on the food like I sprinkle some pepper on my food, about 1 tsp. That has worked. I don’t want to put more because of the high content of sodium in the Tenderizer, 540 mg sodium in 1/4 of a table spoon. I use it for about a couple months then stopped because my dog stopped eating poops. There was overlaps though, mainly because that’s how my dog deals with stress.
