April was colorful and tasty. The orange teriyaki was a med- soft jerky with that nice orange tang. Kalahari Biltong is a South African recipe with just a hint of spice. This month's package was 4.5 oz. (We send at least 4 oz.)

May was a chance to try something unique with the medium-soft Umami flavor. Then, of course, we had to throw in one of our customer favorites, the med-dry garlic ginger. We started Jerky Snob because we noticed that there was so much "junk" jerky at our local gas stations and grocery stores. We wanted healthier snacks for our family and knew that other people would want the same. Our mission is to find the best quality jerky made around the country without all of the unnecessary ingredients like nitrites, nitrates, MSG, and high fructose corn syrup. Answer:	Every box is pretty cool for $30. Expectations shouldn't be off the charts for this amount which many do. It’s great! I’ve had it for a year now!
Question:	When will the first box be sent out
Answer:	It depends on the value of items in the box which usually totals $40-50. If one item is $30+ retail, then there might only be a couple other small things. Otherwise there may be 4 items. Typically the items have not been close outs but new stuff so definitely worth it. Occasionally I already have something, so I just re-gift it.
Question:	Are these gluten free
Answer:	Amazon does not allow you to set preferences for these boxes. If you sign up from the Cairn website you can add preferences. Their customer service is quick to respond if you have any questions about the preference options!

Purple Jasmine

Purple tea is primarily grown by Kenya plantations at elevations between 4,500 and 7,500 feet. Due to high levels of UV bombardment, the plants produce very high levels of antioxidants to protect the leaves from damage.

Thanks for taking a look at Simple Loose Leaf. I'm Andrew, that short guy on the left! And next to me is my partner in crime, Nicholas. And together, with the help of our sister, we started Simple Loose Leaf in March of 2013. Since starting, we've learned more about tea and life than we thought possible. We started as a tiny 2 person show that has grown to include us, an amazing team at the developmental workplace, a team in Texas, and a very talented tea fanatic in London.

• What kinds of teas will I get each month?
  • Each month Simple Loose Leaf sends you 4 loose leaf teas. These teas will include black teas, green tea, herbal teas, and something seasonally fun. We select the teas based on use feedback from past tea boxes, what time of year it is, and the types of teas we feel our customers will enjoy.
• How much tea do I receive each month?
  • Each box of tea will contain 40 grams of loose leaf tea. There will be 4 individually packaged teas with 10 grams of loose leaf per tea. 10 grams of dry leaf is enough to make 4 to 5 cups of single steeped tea.
• Can I customize the teas I get or request specific teas each month?
  • We don't offer a way to customize your tea box for each shipment. We have chosen to not offer customization so we can partner with a local non-profit developmental workplace. They offer educational services and employment opportunities for local Arkansans with developmental disabilities. For us to be able to partner with them, and the community they serve, we've had to figure out ways to keep the tea boxes as simple as possible.
• What are the little cloth bags in my tea box?
  • Simple Loose Leaf works with a Kansas based manufacturing company that sews those little cloth bags. They are designed to be reusable tea filters that work best for single cup brewing. To clean them, you can turn them inside out and run them under some water to get the leafs off.
• How do I make changes to my membership?
  • Log into your Amazon account and go to the "Subscription" section. There you'll find your Simple Loose Leaf membership information and can make any changes to your account that you need to make. Like changing your address or cancelling future renewals. Note: We as merchants won't be able to make these changes for you.
• How do I ask you other questions about your teas or my membership?

Answer:	In our assorted mini bites, the 3 flavors included are chocolate chip, chocolate with white chips & red velvet, none of which are made with nuts but are made in a facility where cross-contamination can occur. With Amazon, we are required to ship the next business day from the date of the order. You cannot pick a specific delivery date, unfortunately.
Question:	If i order 2 boxes will they both have different stuff in them or will it be the same
Answer:	We ship our cakes in a cooler with dry ice.
Question:	I know someone who loves Batman. Is there a way to just get Batman boxes
Answer:	Unfortunately, that particular product would not work for someone on a gluten free diet. But David's Cookies does have gluten free products available on our website.

Answer:	I went back and looked at a couple boxes and didn't see specific pronouns; nor does their appear to be stereotyping in the boxes. The last kit provided identical objects to fill out and a combined project that was basically neutral "couple". I've made candy, painted, ornaments with notes...none seemed "hers" and/or "his".
Question:	Are the products also gluten free for those who have allergies
