The caffeine content can vary slightly depending on the type and quality of Matcha used. So if we are talking 1 serving of matcha which is 1 gram or about 1/2 tsp, this will give you approx 72 mg of the EGCG catechin, matcha’s main antioxidant. And a total catechin content of about 110 to 140 mg per gram. FDA suggests 210mg is a recommended amount of EGCG on a daily basis. EGCG only comes from tea by the way. Matcha does contain other antioxidants like Vitamin C and E, but i have not seen an actual antioxidant daily recommendation. I’d suggest 1 to 2 cups a day of a high quality matcha will give you a decent amount of antioxidants to fight all those free radicals. Personally, I drink 2 cups a day, I dont get sick, and never see a doctor. Answer:	Hi Janet,This is the same ceremonial grade in terms of quality - but this one isn't Certified USDA organic. Answer:	If you purchase or improvise a "Sun Tea" jar made of glass, not plastic you can use tea bags that are 100% tea. Walmart, Target, etc... sells these for about $5. I used to live in Las Vegas and we called it "instant" in the summer. Mr. Coffee makes an Iced Tea maker that is easy to use for tea bags. This is good for year around if you live some where in the Northeast. I quit buying the instant due to the maltodextrin.

Answer:	This is my tea of choice and I drink at least a quart a day, unsweetened but with True Lime. I have type 2 diabetes but have not noticed any glycemic spikes from the tea. My last two HgA1c readings were 6.3 and 5.9 so for me it's not an issue. Always consult with whoever helps manage your diabetes. I suspect the amount of maltodextrin per serving is small.
