Answer:	Tetrapaks contain plastic, metal, and paper, sandwiched in multiple layers. They are a nightmare to recycle anywhere in the world, and in the US very few municipalities have the capacity to do so or the wherewithal to collect and forward them to someplace that does. Most of them, if put into municipal recycling, will simply be sorted out as trash. And private consumers will have to go to some trouble, and spend some money, to find a place to have these recycled. Tetrapak does a little better in Europe owing to the population density and marginal efforts of the European company responsible for them, but they are a fraud as far as environmental concerns go.

But this company's customer service is amazing...they refunded my $18 I paid for this flavor and was able to order another case of plain! The delivery system is great.. Is it kinked, loose, missing etc. Another way to check - if you experience fast filtering - Is the filter snug into place in the upper tank ? To test, remove all the water from your pitcher.
