Assuming the Bower foot is compatible with the A6000 hot shoe -- which I believe it is since the A6000 hot shoe is no longer a Sony proprietary design -- then the A6000 will certainly trigger the Bower flash. If the flash is TTL compatible with Sony (which the product literature should tell you) then the flash will work with the A6000 very well. I have a different mix of Sony and Bower cameras and flashes and get consistently good results.
