Answer:	NO. The Playmaker model is meant to be a portable "set it out" type of unit, or it can be mounted on the roof of an RV. But it cannot take the shaking environment of a semi truck. Winegard makes the X1 model for trucks (Dish Network) and the G2+ model for trucks (DirecTV) and the in-motion D4 and T4 models can all be mounted on trucks using the DieselBoss bracket or the Winegard bracket.

Answer:	You could, you would need another converter, this is a complete receiver system except a converter, such as a joey, or hopper. Then the knowledge how to tie them together, or just use each system by its self. but each system will need its own receiver. Instructions come with, to use the third node to use two dishes.

How it Works

The KING Quest is powered over the coax using a small in-line power injector. You will need a power inverter, portable generator, power pack, or other 110-volt AC power source for the DIRECTV receiver, power injector and TV. System does not receive DIRECTV HD programming and is not compatible with Ka-band satellites or SWM only receivers.

That means you can buy an external hard drive and start recording the shows of your choice. However, we are unable to recommend exact capacity for a drive to choose as we do not know how large the recorded and stored files can be. You may choose a drive by the most popular capacity available today, and we believe this can be a great starting point for you.

Answer:	I have not been there with it, nor have I been outside the Southeastern United States since I bought it. It works great here in South, Georgia. You should call Winegard, they make the Winegard PL7000R Dish Playmaker. Thay can answer all your questions. They were very helpful when I called before making my purchase.
