Question:	Will this send a text message when it detects motion? Will it auto record for a time
Answer:	When it detects motion, the system can be set to send a notification to the phone and record a video automatically. It depends on the settings in the app.
Question:	is the Eufy live footage or delayed? I currently have Blink and don't like the delay
Answer:	It's delay a few seconds because the camera has to wake up and start recording and then send a notification via your wifi to your mobile device. Once you click on the notification and it opens the mobile app, all this takes a couple seconds, but when you start seeing the even recording in the upper right hand corner of the event is an icon that switches you to live view.
Question:	Does it require wifi
Answer:	Wifi is required in the house where you connect the "home base" to via ethernet cable (provided), but you don't have to be using your wifi on your phone to view the feed. If your wifi is turned off on your phone, you'll get an alert that Eufy is utilizing your phone provider's data plan.

Question:	Can you have an hdtv hooked up with an hdmi cable in another part of the house and another monitor connected to the dvr in a closet and view the same
Answer:	Yes. That's what I have. It's a process that requires a long HDMI cable (best to drill a hole in the ceiling of the closet to rout the cable) run to the room where the TV is located - bring it down inside the wall to the TV. I drilled a hole in the wall and fisched the HDMI cable to a HDMI wall plate and plug the TV into that (mine is 30 ft long to the bedroom). Also, while doing that wiring you should run your CAT V to your network router - as this is NOT wireless.
