The keypad address of the new keypad must match the old keypad address. The addresses are one of these 16, 17 or 31. To change the address of the new keypad do the following. Depower the new keypad, repower, press and hold the 1 & 3 keys till you see the current address,press 00 (to clear), ** (the number from the old keypad) then * to exit. If you do not know the old keypad address just keep changing the new until it works.

Answer:	Yes this system can be setup with alarm monitoring services. The lowest alarm monitoring services i found with no contrat was via www.geoarm.com They also were able to remotely program the security system which really makes it perfect for DIY installations

The AC power source rating is 9VAC, 15VA. The transformer and the cabling required to connect it to the repeater are NOT included with the 5800RP. Only the backup battery is included. We recommend using the Honeywell 300-07753 AC transformer in tandem with the LT-Cable (https://www.alarmgrid.com/products/honeywell-lt-cable) to power your Honeywell wireless repeater.
