Answer:	These work on a 3 and 2 prong plug for the USA. The face works for both types of prongs (2 and 3). On the top of the plug it has two holes setup for and additional 2 prong plug. I use a cell phone plug on the top to charge my phone and on the face of the plug I use it for my 3 pronged laptop plug. This set of plugs is great and works like a champ. Answer:	The OREI will allow you to plug your phone charger unit into the socket provided by the power distribution system in Ireland. You have to look carefully at your phone charging unit to see if it allows for 100 - 240 VAC at 50 - 60 Hz. If not you will need a voltage converter to convert the 220 VAC in Ireland to 110-120 VAC. Most of the better hotels in Ireland provide a 110 VAC outlet near the work station area.

Answer:	It appears that Cyprus may very well use 230V / 50 Hz as their household, standard AC current. And that they use the same type plugs (Type G?) that the UK uses. Many devices these days are "universal" in that their power supply circuits (whether built in to the device or a separate "wall wart" adapter) can operate off of an INPUT voltage of anywhere from 100V (volts) to 240V (volts). There should be a label on the device or on its power supply and you will be looking for what is listed as the INPUT VOLTAGE. If it says 110V / 60Hz, then it will only operate if it is fed 110V. Inputting 230V into it would burn it up quickly. If that is the case, then you do need a converter to step down the 230V to the 110 that your device needs. If, on the other hand, your device's INPUT VOLTAGE (or INPUT AC) rating is something like "100-240V 50/60Hz" then it should operate with just the proper adapter plug, with no voltage conversion necessary. This plug adapter does not do voltage conversion; it simply adapts the configuration of the standard US 3-prong plug to that which is used in the UK (and apparently Cyprus, too). Answer:	Yes. It works both the French and German recessed female sockets, which are the same but with different grounds (Types E and F). South Korea uses both, so this adapter is an excellent choice. I used mine in Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, a French territory 15 miles off the Newfoundland coast, and it works great with the 90 to 250 V chargers supplied with most cell phones. The socket will work with high power devices like hair dryers and corded shavers, but the 240V power used in S Korea will fry them without a suitable voltage adapter as well.
