1. Test the doorbell: Can 2 people to test or (camera and monitor)maintain a distance of more than 10ft, too close will produce harsh noise, but this is normal.
2. If the screen shows black /blue/, please check if the power/ cable/ is connected,there is a protective film on the display.so look a little old.
3. If the intercom has no sound or is too small, please adjust the last turbine on the right side of the screen.
4. If the door camera call does not ring, please reconnect the power.
5. Max distance from outdoor unit to indoor unit for 330ft.
6. You can use 4-core cable or 8-core network cable to wiring.

Answer:	In the smart life app hit the + sign and choose socket. Plug the socket into the wall and hold the power button until you hear a sound and it’ll begin to blink quickly. Follow the directions in the app. If the socket stops blinking while connecting press the power button again until it starts blinking again. Make sure you’re socket is plugged in near your internet modem while setting it up. Also make sure your phone is near the socket. After it’s set up you can plug it into any plug in the house but initially it has to be programmed close to your wifi modem. Hope it helps.

I’ve used both X-Lite Softphone on Macs and PCs, and Bria on iPhone and Android. The soft phone device needs to have a static IP address on the local LAN, and you configure that address into the GDS3710. I think you can configure multiple target soft phones in the GDS, but I only needed one.
