Question:	Is this lock weatherproof as to rain
Answer:	No it is not , i have this lock and if it gets wet it glitches badly . I have to put a piece of plastic over the lock to keep it from getting wet . Hope that helps you
Question:	Can it withstand direct rain
Answer:	I have mine exposed to rain and snow. Not directly since it’s an owning there but so far is working perfectly. Even below zero temperatures. We are in Chicago.
Question:	So there is no way to lock this from the inside
Answer:	I assume you mean from outside entry. If so then yes there are two ways. Normally it will automatically lock after a couple of seconds, unless it is in “passage“ mode. There is a switch on the inside just above the handle for private or general mode. In private mode it will be locked and only an administrator can open it from the outside. There is no way to lock it such the people on the inside cannot get out.

Question:	I have a deadbolt about 1 inch above my door knob. In order to use this, do I have to get rid of the deadbolt since it's so close to the knob

Ultraloq doesn’t cover the deadbolt hole completely if you would like replace your existing deadbolt and knob / lever. However, there is a quick solution. What most customers do is a swap - install Ultraloq on the top hole and put the existing deadbolt on the lower hole. If there is no existing deadbolt or you want to remove your deadbolt, most of them will get this accessory in Lowes or Home Depot to cover the top or lower hole, depending on which hole you install Ultraloq. Smart Keyless Entry Door Lock(Compatible L/R Side)

1. Please note L/R side has different install method.
2. If you can't use the APP or keypad to control unless insert a key(lock is stuck), please help to check: re-install after rotate the spindle by 90 degree.

Answer:	When my hands are cold it doesn't seem to register my print. I wouldn't hold your thumb on it for several minutes. I would release and immediately place your thumb on it. It gives an audible sound and the led lights up red if the print isn't recognized. I found that the position of my thumb greatly affects the operation as I sometimes get denied access as it doesn't match the same way as when I set it up.
Question:	Do you have I fingerprint unlock this from both sides of the door
Answer:	It self locks within seconds of opening. If you hear the mechanism and it does not actually lock (from the outside only) then you should contact the seller.
