I can put the little recorder in the left breast pocket of my dress shirt with the mic. sensitivity set to 7 and the recording is of reasonable quality with the other speaker about five feet away. No matter what the recording device is or what it's gain capabilities are, if the microphone itself is not open to the ambient environment, there is not going to be much a recording. Would it record under clothing (pads)? I don't know for sure, but I'd say probably not. Also, any time I move, the rustling of my clothing or anything else that happens to be in my pocket is all you hear - very loudly! I hope this helps!

Answer:	There is an unacceptably long delay for it to start recording, up to 10 seconds where it says "please wait." Also clunky and clumsy to use, poor interface. I returned it and got an Olympus VN-541PC which has a button you can slide to ACTUALLY start recording instantly.

Answer:	Enter the recording options, select AVR settings, then select AVR on. When you enter the recording mode, it will automatically start recording when it detects the sound, and it will stop when it does not detect the sound. It also has a sensitivity setting, you need to set it to the lowest level, otherwise, even your breathing sound can be recorded.

If you've ever needed to quickly capture audio, this car key recording device will provide you with the means to do just that! Since this device is so tiny and looks exactly like a modern-day car key, it has the flexibility to be placed on your key ring, in your pocket, or many other locations without being intrusive!



Directions:

Charge the device by removing the top part of the key to reveal a USB port. Plug the included USB cable into the device and connect it to a USB-compatible power source.

Turn the device on using the “unlock” button on the car key. A blue light will flash to indicate it is on. If you'd like the device to vibrate when it's turned on and again when it starts recording, flip the switch on the right side of the key.

To record, press the “alarm” button on the key, and to switch the default mode to voice-activated recording, flip the switch on the left side of the device. A red light will flash to show you are recording.

Review files directly off the device using the included headphones and by pressing the "lock" button to play and pause. Delete files using the “alarm” button.

You can review and edit files on a computer by plugging the device into one using the included USB cable. Files can be played back using most standard media players.

Answer:	Pls kindly note that what you mentioned are actually depends on TV setting. For most models of TV, the built-in speaker is muted once you plug anything into an audio output port (AUX, RCA, Optical, etc.). Some TVs however, may give you the option to play audio from both the TV's internal speakers and an external audio device simultaneously. Can you pls check if your TV has the "TV Speaker + Optical" option to select. Otherwise you need to purchase a optical audio splitter to work with or a transmitter that support bypass function. For the latter one, we recommend Avantree HT5006 set.
