Question:	How does it work when it's for automaticaly record all phone line conversations ? Does it's plug in betwen the main line and the phone base itself
Answer:	The recorder is supplied with a phone line tap cable which is an in-line microphone of sorts. It has a modular RJ-11 phone jack with a splitter. The phone line plugs into one end, the recorder and phone into the other. It allows the recorders internal microphone to detect and audio activity (dial tone, conversation, etc.) on the line and automatically activates the recorder.

Answer:	Sometimes if you use an SD card in devices such as this; they will work and then fail because they were not "formatted" for the specific device. Try accessing the material from your SD cards that you tried on your computer. If the material is there; then the card is still fine but its not fully formatted for the digital recorder. I had the same problem where I had files on an SD card for an Edirol R-09HR recorder and tried to use the same card in an Edirol R-09 (earlier version). The files would play flawlessly but recording after so many hours; the unit would freeze and the SD card wouldn't play the files after rebooting. You must "format" the SD card before using it to record. It will still be compatible for PC usage.

Answer:	Yes. Depending on the software you use,.... It comes with Audacity and you can also download Audacity online. I already had it so.... Using Audacity to record, it saves as an Audacity file. Again, using Audacity, you can then convert to wav, mp3, or other formats. It does not automatically record to mp3, it records as a digital file, not mp3. So to answer your question, once recorded as a digital file, you can convert to mp3, yes.

Answer:	well if it does not matter to you where you carry the recorder they sell arm band carriers to carry the recorder on you upper arm to prevent the recorder from capturing the sound of the material rubbing sounds it captures being in your pocket. I saw it a video on YouTube that's how some paranormal investigators advise so you don't get all the noise pick up from holding it in your hand or the material rubbing sounds, sounds it may picks up from being in your pocket when you walk or move,,,,,,,,, I hope this help you out in some way.

Question:	Once you download mp3 to your computer, can you then burn a CD to use in your car
Answer:	Yes. Depending on the software you use,.... It comes with Audacity and you can also download Audacity online. I already had it so.... Using Audacity to record, it saves as an Audacity file. Again, using Audacity, you can then convert to wav, mp3, or other formats. It does not automatically record to mp3, it records as a digital file, not mp3. So to answer your question, once recorded as a digital file, you can convert to mp3, yes.

Answer:	Audacity is awesome software. I use it on Windows 10 all day. Make sure you get the latest version. It is free, btw.

Answer:	There is apparently not a special software for this device. If you have Audacity or GarageBand on your computer (or download Audacity using the included disc/suggested link) you should be able to plug in this device and record your own MP3's from it.

How To Convert Your Old Cassette Tapes?

Connect the recorder to your laptop using the USB cable. And plug in the headphone so that you don't have to hear 2 volumes: one from the tape and the other from the laptop. All audio sounds goes from the recorder directly to the laptop if (for the microphone option), you use the USB option. Therefore, if you make a lot of noise at your desk, none of the sounds will be capture in the WAV file. By controlling the volume on the recorder, you directly influence the loudness of the recording.

While you are recording, don’t put anything electronic near the player (cell phone, tv remote, game controller, etc) or it will make a buzzing noise on your recording and you will have to start over.

How to have the best sound quality?

1. use an outside wall charger (not included) or 2 AA batteries to power the cassette player while recording. Be sure to keep it away from your computer monitor or other electronics while you are using it. If it's turned a certain way near a monitor, noise will come through on your transfer. By moving 4-5 ft away from PC area the issue cleared completely.
2. Depending on the age and quality of your cassette tape, you may hear background air or something that sounds like a hum. The reason is the actual "tape" is magnetic and looses it's strength over time. This does not mean the cassette player is faulty. But, with Audacity you can remove background noise and that's a major plus.
3. Use the option in Audacity to monitor audio as it's playing, and experiment with volume setting. If you set the volume on max on the player, it will introduce more noise. Lower it until the loudest sound only reaches about 75% in the wavelength window. That's a good audio setting for mastering in a studio, and the same applies here
