Answer:	One pump is an ounce, which should be sufficient for a normal load. Depending on the water quality and degree of soil on the laundry. Soft water use less detergent, hard water may require a bit more. I would start the ounce and adjust accordingly.

Answer:	There is a pump that inserts into the bucket included. The pump allows for the product to be pumped out of the bucket for use or for filling a dispenser bottle.

I believe all that's needed for a 3D cake is to glue the 2 halves together with frosting. But I can't imagine why they could not be frosted and used individually. Answer:	You only fill one side (the side without the hole) to the brim and then snap on the top piece. As it cooks the cake rises (it takes right about 6 cups of cake mix), just make sure the top section is secured with wire or a brick to keep it from being popped off during the baking process.
Question:	Does this turn on and off with the weight of the cat or is it on all the time
Answer:	It depends on how thick you want each layer / how big you want the cake to be. I would suggest, however, baking 2 full batches because you'll need to trim the top and edges of both layers to make them flat/even (so that both the top and bottom layer of the cake are the same size. If you only use 1 batch of batter (and only pour 1/2 at a time) the layers may end up thin...then when you trim down you may not have much left. Better to start with two big layers so that when you trim them down you'll still have a good amount of cake to work with. Ultimately, it is up to you though. Hope this helps.

Our house is up in the mountains and the house is not insulated. It is around 60 degrees Fahrenheit inside the house, and very cold outside. This bed is the correct temperature for the cat during the winter, and she will stay in that bed and be comfortable. When it warms up in spring and summer, 60s-70s-80s, she will not sleep in the bed, she'll sleep on her fuzzy bathmat, not the cat bed.

Answer:	I have three cats, and each loves their own K&H bed. My tip is to line the bed with a terrycloth bath towel (laundered without fabric softener for best results). Fasten the towel to the top of the bed with a couple of safety pins. The cats love warm towels, and the towels collect dirt, dander and fur. Remove and launder the towels as needed. This is a great way to collect the crud and keep the cat clean and happy, and extends the life of the bed, which won't need laundering.

Answer:	I don't recommend machine washing the foam. I took the bed apart and washed the fabric in the machine and let it air dry. If the foam really needs washing, you could try using a wet cloth or try immersing it in soapy water and gently squeeze it a few times. Then do the same with clear water to rinse it, and air dry.

Answer:	Using extension cords is basically safe. Those official warnings against using extension cords are legal boilerplate that theoretically protects manufacturers from lawsuits if something goes wrong, from both user misuse and manufacturing defects. When not overloaded with high wattage equipment, modern electrical circuits are designed to operate safely using extension cords (think of old fashioned lightbulbs rated at 100 watts as lower than normal usage since one circuit can handle several such lightbulbs running 24/7). Answer:	Yes, it should be. I have one of those type of rescues also who refuses to become an indoor cat. I have 2 heated mats for him. One is a softshell mat that wraps the inside of his hooded bed and a second that is a hard thermo mat which is on top of a carpeted mat infront of one of the garage window sills. I also have a propane gas heater that keeps the garage a steady comfortable temperature. To answer your question though it will be safe. If your garage is not heated, I would recommend covering the mat with at least a cardboard box to keep her warmth around her whold body. Otherwise she will get cold, especially if she is wet, try to dry her with a towel. And a large towel over the cardboard box might help retain the heat in the box. Question:	The heating pad came with a metal piece that sort of looks like a comb, but it's not a comb. What is it for? I think it was in the package by mistake
Answer:	My cat is large, should weigh 12 lbs. but is 15 and on a diet. He's a long and tall orange male anyway. I just got the larger size for him because he was spilling over the sides of the round one. He loves it, and if you had two cats who sleep together, it would also work well for that.
Question:	Is the cover machine washable
Answer:	The heated pad is about 14" x 18". The heat pad can be easily removed from the fleece cover. Also, I felt the encircling roll of fleece was a bit too confining for my large Maine Coon cat. I found the seam on the roll and as able to reach in and remove the stuffing from about half the roll. Now he has a place to rest his head and is still able to spread out.
