Answer:	Lp60x is the newer model.. there are some aesthetic changes, DC conversation happens in the plug now, the o/p is a 3.5mm aux jack with a aux to rca cable(instead od the other way around in 60) that's what I found when I was researching on it. There might be some internal changes too

Question:	I have always owned belt drive turntables. I have read that direct drive can be noisy. How is this one as far as rumble
Answer:	My previous turntable was a very nice AR belt drive table, and I had the same concern about direct drive rumble. Not any more. The AT-LP120XUSB is dead silent. It sounds incredible.
Question:	So, since this turntable has a built in preamp, does this mean I can use passive speakers? Or do I need powered speakers
Answer:	No. You'll need powered speakers or you'll need to plug it into an amp to use passive speakers. "Preamp" = pre (before) amplifier. Preamps and phono amps take the very low signal from the stylus and amplify it to a level that an amplifier can use. AND (the reason record players need phono-specific preamps instead of a standard preamp) the preamp/phonoamp also decodes the RIAA format that all albums since the 1950s use, which is proprietary and needs a specific type of decoding to play the music.

Answer:	Yes you can... The turntable has a built-in preamp. You want to buy powered speakers. They sell tons of them now. The best I have heard were KRK powered speakers. To get a good idea of what’s available, check out the needledoctor or crutchfield websites.

Answer:	No, there's no way to connect a thumb drive. The USB is output only. You can connect it directly to your computer. It comes with the software to convert the analog vinyl to a digital mp3 file. Then burn those to your CD.

Answer:	Yes it does. Comes with an adapter for you to plug in to your receiver. Has a button on back to switch from line out/phono depending on what you hook up to. Plugged mine into a Sony receiver with a phono in and works great.
Question:	Sorry, what does 'fully automatic' mean
Answer:	You don't have to do it this way, but if you want you can put a record on the platter, close the lid, and just hit the Start button. The arm will then move by itself and place the needle on the record automatically. And of course at the end of the record it will return the arm to resting position and stop. I did not think I would use that feature to start my records, but it does work smoothly and I have found myself doing it that way instead of placing the needle onto the record myself.

Answer:	All batteries 20v and 18v are the same thing, they all have 5 lithium cells inside and they charge fully at approx 21v, the "max" is just a marketing thing to get you to buy those batteries more than the others

Answer:	There is a phono preamp switch under the platter that may need to be switched off. The powered speakers may have an input labeled "phono" which already has a preamp. You can either run it to a line input on the speakers with the phono switch on the turntable turned on or you can turn it off and run it with the phono preamp on the speakers. Only use 1 preamp! By running through 2 you are overloading the signal.

There are three different wires used on the Technics turntables, so please make sure your model is listed below before ordering. This auction is for an AFTERMARKET Panasonic ground wire for most BLACK COLORED Technics turntables with straight tonearms. This wire works just as well as the original wire SJPB7M, which is NLA. And as a bonus, it is 4 ft. long, instead of 3 ft. like the original.
