Answer:	There is no way for and end user to change the beep volume. Supposedly, Aftershockz is aware of this. Their "R & D department is "working on this" and a "product of lower beep sound" will be "introduced to the production line" and "the volume of the sound will drop by 3dB". (Source: A contact us / support request email exchange with Aftershockz in JAN 2021. No indication of which model or when this improvement will be introduced, but I am hoping soon and that they tell us when it happens). If I remember correctly, the beeps on my older Trekz Titanium were a lot quieter. The loudness of beeps on my recently purchased (Jan 2021) Aeropex Mini is very jarring and almost painful if I am wearing ear plugs or in a quiet environment. I find that loud beeps aren't as bad if I am not wearing ear plugs, but definitely annoying and a bit uncomfortable. In my opinion, this is a SERIOUSLY BAD DESIGN decision by Aftershockz. This has CHANGED my view of the Aeropex / Aeropex Mini from a really AMAZING, NEARLY PERFECT product, to something that I am SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING RETURNING. (Since language settings can be changed by the end user, I think Aftershockz should seriously consider a programming a setting where you can mute these beeps for those sensitive to loud or abrupt sounds.) (NOTE: I tried lowering & muting my ring tone and adjusting max volume settings on my phone per other commenter's suggestions, but this has not had any effect on the loudness of the headset button beeps. Answer:	It has about 10 clicks that cover ~ 2" of travel (51 mm) on each of the left and right side. So, each click of adjustment is about 0.2 inches or 5mm. Yes, symmetrical on both sides.

If it's a solid state, I would say a Schiit Audio Jotunheim with the balanced DAC module ($499 USD total ($399 USD without the DAC option), not including shipping, even with shipping, it should be within your budget of $600)would be your best bet in that price range as it has a 1/4 inch and a 4 pin xlr (which these headphones come with both cables). The 4 pin XLR cable will give you more power to drive them over using the 1/4 inch cable on the Jotunheim. Someone else here suggested the Valhalla 2, and I would pass on that as it does not have an 4 pin XLR output. With an XLR cable, it gives the headphones a separate hot and a separate ground for each ear/side. 1/4 cables have separate hots but a shared ground. While this is not that bad on less expensive headphones, you will most likely notice it if you have a good audio source.

And I can confirm via my own Blind A/B/X listening tests using Neumann KH 120A Studio Monitors, Beyerdynamic T1 headphones, and Noble Audio Kaiser K10 CIEMs that the SQ of the iPhone 6/6+ is on par or better than several so-called "high-end" DAPs. I do agree that you will want an outboard Headphone Amplifier to eek the best performance from the HD800S/to power them appropriately, but the SQ from the iPhone 6/6+ itself is stellar, especially considering it is not designed as a stand-alone /dedicated DAP. Answer:	Bluetooth simply does not work underwater. I know this from first hand experimenting. There are bluetooth swim products from other companies, but they all involve placing the bluetooth transmitter on the back of your goggles or swim cap so that it stays above water while wired ear buds run to your ears. If the bluetooth transmitter is submerged in just an inch or two of water, the signal degrades and your audio will cut out. Aftershokz does have the mp3 version Tyler mentioned so your music is stored in the device itself. Until a different wireless audio technology comes out, these are the only real solutions from my research. I have tried waterproof bluetooth earbuds from kickstarter. They were ruined quickly. Stick to an mp3 player or try the transmitters that attach to your goggles. Hope this info was helpful to you or someone else reading.

Answer:	well...I not sure, as long as you can get it to pair up with Bluetooth. I got it paired to my hubby's Samsung cell phone and off he went. Now while on the phone if we use google assist from there it works.
