It allows for the signal to be transmitted using an HDMI cable to a monitor or a TV, and it also allows you to route it back to the DVR via another BNC cable. If your other monitor will accept HDMI, depending on the distance, you could just run an HDMI cable to that monitor. The only other way would be to find a HDMI convertor that would let you run over a coax cable, but most of those will limit you to 480

Question:	Will this work if I connect a fire tv stick to my coaxial connection on my treadmil? Trying to find a way to watch fire tv from my treadmil
Answer:	That is what I am doing, I have the yellow connected to a video in jack in the back of the radio. I am using a Y cable as I have both this & a backup camera both connected to the same jack as there is only 1 video in on my receiver. I can now use screen mirroring & have my navigation from my phone showing on the radio screen. Video quality is not a good as shown on the phone but it works (radio screen resolution is not as good or high).

How to use:

1. This BNC to HDMI converter Connect with original 12V power adapter to DC port, after power on, the RED light on;

2.BNC to HDMI converter : V-IN connect with video signal input, the other side connect with the device which to receive converted video signal;

3. If you connect V-OUT/VGA/HDMI at the same time, press button A to shift different signal to display. The default output signal type is HDMI.

4. When using HDMI output, press button B to shift Video resolution between 1080P or 720P.

5. When using CVBS output, press Button B to shift PAL/NTSC mode.

A. Please confirm if the monitor signal type is same as convertor output type. And please confirm if convertor signal shift to the correct mode.
