I still have the instruction for either of them so the instruction says "Connect one of the Ethernet cable to one of devices then connect to the switch. Answer:	Temps are 30-105 degrees F. Speeds, heh, all ports are capable of 1GB+ which is really fast, it's a fat pipe few will ever fill. That assumes Cat-6 cables throughout the network, however. Also, in high-electronic noise situations, you're likely to need shielded Cat-6 cables. When I bought mine (2 DGS-108s), I bought the shielded Cat6 Ethernet cables pre-made from Amazon and got rid of all my old Cat5E cords, most of whom were twenty years old anyway. I don't use wireless, I won't have it, but with three TVs, three DVDs, two work stations and a couple of laser printers and a laptop, I needed lots of ports, I figured I'd take the two-hundred-dollar hit, replace it all and be done with it, even though the TVs, DVD players and printers will never use the speed. I do have a couple of Ethernet drives that transfer at speeds a little faster than 500MB/S with the new cables and hubs, so in that regard, I got some benefit from the faster hubs. When you're talking 1GB speeds, the limiting factor is the hardware attached to the 1GB hubs rather than the Cat6 cabling and GB hubs. Good Luck.

Coverage depends on location (most important), number of walls between the router and where being used and the type of construction (brick, wood, sheet rock etc.). Answer:	We have it in our home - my husband plays Xbox One, I use the Xbox 360 for streaming movies/ shows, plus 3 laptops - his personal, work and my personal, we both have tablets and we both have phones that connect -- and we have no issues with that many devices connected - I hope that helps answer your question.
Question:	how do i get my router to work without the disc
Answer:	This should work for any ISP. But CenturyLink generally offers DSL, and while they advertise their DSL as broadband, it's still far slower than cable (and in my direct experience, satellite). Therefore, this router may be overkill for DSL... depends on what CL says it can deliver up and down your phone wire.

Answer:	This Router is compatible with any modem with an Ethernet port. If it is a modem/router combination you would just have to bridge the connection, but as long as it is just 1 modem with available Ethernet ports it would be compatible.

Answer:	Hi, I'm not 100% sure, but I think that I have installed the latest Firmware last time I used it (3 months ago). Did that have it in it? If not it's no big deal, I can install the latest for you before shipping it out.
Question:	What is the range on the wifi
Answer:	At the debug level, it appears to log everything. Best reviewed with a Syslog program, because it is quite verbose. A full log is sent every few minutes during active periods, leaving the user to parse it, a gargantuan task. Much easier with a Syslog. I did have Syslog running 24/7 while I suspected an attack; I now only schedule the router to send a log once each week. There's no way for me to know if ALL connection requests are logged. Perhaps a D-Link tech knows.
