Answer:	9.5X7. Because it is soft sided it will accomodate a surprising amount of lunch items plus ice packs.

Answer:	I think an 8" square container would be too big. A ruler inside puts the bag at about 6.5" deep with another 1" under the lid. The inside width is 7" and length is about 7.5.

Answer:	No. There is a liner that slows down water but if an ice bag or soda bursts liquid will get out.
