Answer:	Yes. It has several usable ethernet ports and will act as a switch. However, there are some third party usb wifi adapters on amazon that can be used with macs (including mac pro) to get wifi if you prefer that.

Answer:	reset your router with the pinhole in the back. press a paperclip in it until it clicks, then plug in the router. wait for the blinking amber light (10 seconds) then remove the paper clip. download app utility to your laptop/desktop. Plug one cable into the router and one cable into the network port. The app for iPhone usually picks this up but if it doesn't or if you don't have an iPhone try the cable approach I just explained. once its plugged in the apple utilility app should find it

Answer:	Yes. You can replace your current router with Nest Wifi router. But if you have a modem/router combo, you can't. Because you need a modem with a functional Wi-Fi network to connect your Nest Wifi router to. If that is the case, you can put your combo in Bridge mode or disable its Wi-Fi functionality, so that you can connect your Nest Wifi devices together to create a mesh network and avoid a Double NAT. Answer:	Yes. The Amazon pack is multiples of Routers. The routers do have ethernet backhaul. The comment about 200/200 is incorrect. I have some backhauled via cat6 and 5e and I get close to full speed at the spoke point. Now if you wireless to the point and hardwire to a computer past that, you're limited to the wireless speed. These are great units, you won't be disappointed unless you need really complicated network setups with VLANS or something

Answer:	Not unless your main router is a Google OnHub (they support the mesh network capabilities needed). From Kate (Manufacturer):Google Wifi is a "mesh" Wi-Fi system, they are not extenders for your existing router. The first Wifi point plugs into your modem with an Ethernet cord, and plugs in to power. Others plug in to regular power outlets in your home. They connect wirelessly to one another to create a single Wi-Fi network within your home. If you have Ethernet ports throughout your house, you can also hardwire each point. If you hardwire the units, you will still get a single Wi-Fi network throughout your house and the points will use Ethernet for connectivity between each other.
Question:	How would I handle my wired devices? If this replaces traditional wireless routers I lose my 4 wired ports
Answer:	Each Wifi point has two Gigabit Ethernet ports. There 1 WAN and 1 LAN on the primary Wifi point (which must connect to your modem) and 2 LAN ports on each additional Wifi point.

I have had this only one day, I am in a ranch style home on 1 acre, with 2 in each front corner of house and one in middle of the rear of the house and get reception on entire 1 acre though not the greatest connection on the edges but still fast and stable. also good connection in detached garage/pool house, might add one more for the detached garage/poolhouse to go from good connection to great connection

The setup is: ------------ In words: 1- Connect the Main Google Wifi WAN port directly to the modem, then connect the LAN port to a switch. 2- Connect each ethernet cable from outlets in the house to the switch. 3- BEFORE connecting the other Google Wifi(s) to the Ethernet, you MUST pair/activate/create the mesh with the Main Google Wifi. You MUST do this for each Google Wifi that will be connected to the network. 4- After pairing/activation/mesh creation, then you can take them to the location where you want to connect them to an ethernet port. Question:	I can not get past step 8 keeps failing to connect any recommendations
Answer:	Bear with me... They're dual band. 2.4 & 5 GHz. The 5 is faster, but the range is much smaller. It sounds like your mesh node is too far away from the gateway. Your device is connecting to the gateways 5ghz network, but the node isn't getting the full 5ghz from the gateway. In 99% of homes, you can disable the 5ghz network and have better results, as most ISP's can't deliver speed to take advantage of the 5ghz network anyway.
Question:	Can you plug an external hard drive in the USB port and access it over the wifi
Answer:	You have some options: You can use the Nova system with the existing system (in bridge mode), you can bridge (call your ISP) your current modem-router so that it is running as a pure modem and connect the Nova system to it, or you can run both and shut off the WiFi signal on your main router (not recommended). The last option is you can purchase a cable modem, but it is usually not necessary.
Question:	I have a modem and router all in one, how do I connect Taotronics mesh wifi routers
Answer:	This looks like a rebranded MeshForce which I owned and sent back because it didn't allow you to have two SSID's and separate 2.4 & 5 ghz. This will be problematic if you have 5 ghz devices that won't communicate with 2.4 ghz devices such as a printer. My system would connect my laptop and phone to 5 ghz and randomly connect my Roku and cameras to 2.4 ghz, when this happens you are unable to cast to the Roku or view the cameras from your phone or laptop. It becomes very frustrating, you never know what you're gonna get, 2.4 or 5 ghz.
Question:	When connecting a second ac3000 via an ethernet cable, which ethernet ports work best for both ac3000's
