Answer:	This is the main thing I don't like about Ring Pro, they have not bothered to make it work with live view for Windows 7. This tells me that like many companies they don't care or bother to make their products backward compatible. If you decided to upgrade to Windows 10 despite all negative pushy attempts to force it upon us by Microsoft, you are in the Live View club. If you choose to stick with Windows 7 and wait until Windows 10 OS issues are resolved before upgrading or buying a new system, your out of luck. Thanks, Ring! Question:	Can you use two off these (one to extend to backyard / patio, and the other to extend to 2nd floor which is on the opposite end of backyard / patio
Answer:	If it's anything like the amped repeater/extenders (old REC10 for example) as long as you plug them within range of your router (REC10 recommends at least 70% router signal strength) you can have each extend your router's signal in the direction they are located. That gives you an access point at each (for example in opposite directions from your router, plus extending the wifi around each. In fact, I have extended my router's range by configuring one REC10 to extend another REC10 which is extending the router's original signal. I would be will to bet you can do all of this with this Netgear unit.
Question:	does it have to externaly wired to the router
Answer:	No. But it can be if your ability to extend diminishes quickly from the router due to walls, floors, tall furniture; etc. That's where wiring to the Extender (set to Access Point mode) helps
Question:	Does this unit create a new network or extend current WiFi
Answer:	It can be used in two different ways. If you just plug it into the wall and connect it to your existing WiFi, it creates a new SSID. Alternatively, you can run an ethernet cable to its location, where it will act as an access point to extend the existing wireless network.

Answer:	I straight out bought mine the old American way with my money, unhindered by any promotional or free offers. Also be wary of very good or very bad reviews wherein you do not see the words "Verified Purchase" by the posters name. I'm seeing a lot more of those these days and by my thinking they must be fake reviews because why would someone even post a review here on Amazon if they didn't buy it here? Makes no sense to me. Enough of that but yes I did buy it myself and had it almost a week now and am very happy and impressed with the NETGEAR N300 WiFi Range Extender (EX2700). Mine is fulfilling my purpose for it by providing a strong and solid WiFi signal to my AmcrestPro HD WiFi camera overlooking the outside of my house. My camera's live video feed is now constant and uninterrupted and my screens on my pc, my Android phone, and my laptop all no longer freeze up while I'm watching the live feed. The NETGEAR N300 WiFi Range Extender (EX2700) is a success for me. As for the bad reviews for it I can only surmise they are from user errors in trying to use this device. It's been solid for me and I'm thrilled with it.

Answer:	I've been waiting 12 months for a forum tech support feed with detailed step by step trouble shooting regarding IP connection issues. My NVR has never connected typ my Arris 2.4ghz wifi router so I have never been able to use the NVR. ZMODO tech support only replies once a week and the reply is never technical. It is like advice from a 10 yearold. Worst tech support ever! I'm a trained windows tech with an advanced understanding of networking and I can not figure out why they are not communicating. Answer:	Audio not available on theses, Since it is WI-Fi and cloud based you can add as man y as you would like its just a matter of how much cloud space you want to pay for. I suggest you spend a little more and get a system with a DVR and you can store and keep what you want. Cloud service makes you hostage to the owner, you don't pay you can't retrieve.., I also think there could be some privacy issues (who can see what's being recorded and stored?) I did purchase these and wish I had not.
Question:	Any suggestions on plugging them in for outside use
Answer:	The system is rated IP67, but surprisingly recommends that you 'waterproof' the junction where the power supply connects to the camera. I installed our cameras under an eave, and put the power supply where water might touch it, but not soak it. I wrapped the connection in a decent tape. I've had one of these outside, unsheltered for about three months. The power supply looks 'potted', that is well sealed.
Question:	how do you charge them and how long last the charge
Answer:	I have these and the internal ones, too. They work great. These cameras ARE wireless. Wireless is an industry term referring to a network connection or radio transmission. It has nothing to do with power supply. wire·less wī(ə)rləs/Submit adjective 1.using radio, microwaves, etc. (as opposed to wires or cables) to transmit signals. "wireless broadband" noun 1.broadcasting, computer networking, or other communication using radio signals, microwaves, etc. You will still need 115VA-120VA power within the 6 ft to supply the 5V/1A power block or an extension if further away. If you are looking for a wire-free camera you will need something like an ARLO system. They work great but you will have to replace batteries based on the activity in the area being recorded. Some of mine would last 2 months, but most lasted about 2 weeks. The batteries are expensive. I tried the rechargeables, but they do not last as long. Arlo cameras a great for remote locations.

When the wifi repeater extends wifi signal successfully, the indicator light is steady blue or steady red or blinking red. If it's red and flashing, indicates that the pairing is not successful, proceed to the second step. Step 2: Access the web-based management page, check if you can find the original router signal in the WLAN list. If you can't find the original router's SSID, please check: a. The distance between wifi repeater and your router, put them closer to each other. If the original router is too far away, the signal will be too weak to search. b. Whether your router is working properly. c. Whether you have set the of your router SSID hidden. If so, please make the SSID visible. d. What's the encryption standards of your original router? Question:	I have a 5 level home, can I use 2 of these to reach all floors
Answer:	It depends on the construction materials of the home, interference from neighbors, and how large of an area each floor is. You can connect as many APs to the router as necessary to cover the area. I advise running Ethernet to the locations of each AP. These are not designed for a mesh network. In other words extending off an extender is not going to work.
