Answer:	If you have an Internet installation (cable or Dish) in one apartment that is connected to a wi-fi router, you would be able to set up and pair the extender in the apartment with the wi-fi router, then plug the extender in an outlet in the other apartment. The extender network is protected with a password so only those who know the PW coils access your network connection.

I live in a basement apartment and the wifi wasn't great to play online and it was too far to set up a Ethernet cable. Answer:	Dan Blake has the correct answer if you want to use your existing SSID. You cannot set it up that way (same SSID) using the WPS method. You'll have to use a second computer or device (I used my phone). Additionally, you'll need to also use the same password(s) for your existing SSID(s) and restart Wi-Fi (let it reconnect once) on each device to get a seamless network. If you want new networks, you can name then anything you want and set whatever passwords you want.
Question:	Is this compatible with xfinity comcast router? also, how many units will i need to cover from our office to outside courtyard room
Answer:	When it works, it works great. When it doesn't work, it's a worthless brick and customer service is absolutely reprehensible. The customer service line (since it isn't listed on the website is 888-638-4327) and the phone tree is rage-inducing, and the hold times are beyond ridiculous. I've been trying to get a human for about 15 minutes now, and I decided to fill the time by leaving warnings for others about their garbage-tier customer service.

Answer:	THis picture isn't like the extender I purchased. The one I got is white and was mounted in m y sunroom. However, the electrical plug quit working and I had to move in out in my breezeway. So far so good. Think I will put some kind of protection between it and the north open wall near it. Only time will tell how the exposure affects it.

Answer:	Yes the EX8000 used as a wifi extender you have the option of having a guest network. You can use same SSID name as your main router or use a different SSID altogether. I did have issues with more than one extender on the same network using same SSID name as main router so I had to change one of the extenders to a different SSID.
Question:	Has anyone connected a ps4 of xbox one to the wifi from the range extender? if so, signal and game play any good
Answer:	If you mean an AT&T router signal, yes. If you mean cell tower signal, then no.
Question:	Does it create a new sid or does it exteneded your current sid, so one does not have to switch to differing networks when in range

Answer:	there are 4 ports. I use multiple ones as this is the only system I can find that does not change the network name but once a year I also have one break and have to replace it or hard reset it myself.

Answer:	This question is quite valid. I travel often for work and I use a range extender: 1. to boost weak hotel WiFi and 2. to add a layer of encryption. World voltage (100-240v @ 50Hz or 60Hz) is necessary. Using a simple wall plug adapter, plug & play devices using world voltage work anywhere. Those limited to 100-120v @ 60Hz only work in No. America and few other places. Asking about 110v/220v is essentially the same question. For this product, the answer is Yes.

Answer:	Do it manually... Put paperclip looking tool in hole on side and hold it in for 10 seconds... Let it boot up for about 2 minutes... Then look for it in your phone, or whatever device wifi network menu... Click on it, and wait for it to connect. You still won't have internet... Then click on it again, when it expands, click on the ip address and log in as it states in instructions (admin) is password. Then setup from there is optional depending on how you want to use it
