8 best points

In the context of Repeaters, Networking Products, Computers Accessories, and Electronics, "points" can refer to various concepts and devices. Here are some relevant aspects:

  1. Access Points (AP): Access points are devices used in wireless networking to provide Wi-Fi connectivity to devices like laptops, smartphones, and tablets. They are often referred to as "APs" or simply "points." Access points are crucial in expanding the coverage area of a wireless network or improving its signal strength.

  2. Access Point Mode: Many wireless routers can be configured to work in access point mode. In this mode, the router functions as an access point, allowing it to extend an existing wired network's wireless coverage.

  3. Repeater: A repeater, also known as a signal booster or range extender, is a device used to extend the coverage of a wireless network. Repeaters receive and retransmit Wi-Fi signals, helping to overcome dead zones or areas with weak signal strength.

  4. Data Points: In the context of networking and electronics, "data points" can refer to physical outlets or connections where network cables or data cables are terminated. Data points are used for connecting devices like computers, printers, or networking equipment to a network.

  5. Connection Points: This term can also refer to various connection interfaces or ports on electronic devices and accessories. For instance, USB ports, HDMI ports, and Ethernet ports can be considered connection points where you plug in cables to establish connections.

  6. Access Control Points: In network security, access control points are specific locations within a network where access to resources or data is regulated and monitored. This helps ensure that only authorized users can access sensitive information.

  7. Data Transfer Points: This can refer to points within a network where data is transferred between devices, such as data centers, network switches, or routers.

  8. Power Points: In the context of electronics, "power points" can refer to electrical outlets or receptacles where you plug in devices to supply them with electrical power.

  9. Network Distribution Points: These are locations in a network where data is distributed to various devices or network segments, often through switches or hubs.

  10. Network Connection Points: Similar to data points, these are places where network devices are connected to the network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and access points.

When dealing with points in networking, it's essential to understand their specific context and how they relate to the devices and infrastructure being used to create and maintain a network or electronic setup. The type of point and its purpose can vary significantly depending on the application.

User questions & answers

Question: Does it come with flexipoints
Answer: Yes and yes. The top is gauze like so water and fine sand can get in. The only openings are in the soul to let water out. The shoe will protect you feet very well from shells and rocks and let Sandy water in and out. It has the potential of trapping fine sand that gets in with the water.
Question: I am having trouble with my artwork shifting around the frame. The points aren’t holding it close enough. Am I doing something wrong
Answer: The shoe upper is mesh so I think sand could get in pretty easily. The sole has drain holes but there is an insole in the shoe which might keep small rocks out but probably not sand.
Question: How deep can it drivr the ping into walnut and oak
Answer: These. Water shoes are extremely light. Very satisfied with weight
Question: If you need to remove the nails, how would you go about doing that
Answer: certainly would. these are meant for pool, water aerobics, so balance can be maintained. holes on bottom are 1/2 - 3/4 inch. there are 3 of them.

User questions & answers

Question: AreHello, are they made of stainless material? stainless steel
Answer: Yes it comes with a small amount of both flex and rigid points. I’d say about 50 of each. The gun is a really great value.
Question: So the color will appear silver
Answer: I use corners to hold the art to the backer, and hinge tape to hold the mat in place, so the art-mat-back sandwich doesn't shift on itself. Clean the glass two times and check it. The sandwich should be a close fit inside the frame, close but not a jam fit, just a little drag. The gun sits on the sandwich and presses it gently to the front of the frame for each shot; eight or ten should do it. There are good videos on the net.
Question: Will this work in the logan f500-2? The package clearly states on the front it will work on F500-1 only but the description states otherwise
Answer: It drives it in as far as it needs to. I use it on oak frames all the time.
Question: Once inserted, how much of the point sticks out? I want to use it for holding glass into shadow boxes without being seen
Answer: Hi Patricia, There are no nails involved, the gun uses a flat oblong "point" about 3/8" long and 1/4" wide and are available in stiff or flexible. The gun shoots them in parallel to the back of the work you're mounting. I usually use flexible so removing the work is as easy as bending the point up. You can then pop in a new piece, fold down the point and you're done. The stiff points a easily removed with needle-one pliers after lifting an edge of the point to grab it.

User questions & answers

Question: My family has two appartments next to each other, both separate electrical installations. Would this work if we wanted to split the internet bill
Answer: Yes the EX8000 used as a wifi extender you have the option of having a guest network. You can use same SSID name as your main router or use a different SSID altogether. I did have issues with more than one extender on the same network using same SSID name as main router so I had to change one of the extenders to a different SSID.
Question: Has anyone connected a ps4 of xbox one to the wifi from the range extender? if so, signal and game play any good
Answer: If you mean an AT&T router signal, yes. If you mean cell tower signal, then no.
Question: Does it create a new sid or does it exteneded your current sid, so one does not have to switch to differing networks when in range
Answer: the input voltage is from 100 to 240 volts
Question: I don't understand how some people give this 4-5 stars and others can't get it to work and give it 1 star
Answer: there are 4 ports. I use multiple ones as this is the only system I can find that does not change the network name but once a year I also have one break and have to replace it or hard reset it myself.
