I would recommend a wireless extender if you receive a good enough signal at your desired location. I find my Netgear signal as the strongest in my house. Answer:	You would need a Powered Antenna adapter. Basically the powered antenna hooks to the RP-SMA slot, then has the powered hub, and then you put a % dbi antenna on it and it'll get 2x more antenna strength. Even 2x more then what you'll use for a higher DBI antenna. So if you use a 24dbi antenna, it'd more be like a 48dbi antenna. So if you use double 10dbi antennas with the power adapter. that'll be more then enough to have signal strength to get all the house at max, even if

Answer:	This is a wireless access point not a router, that means that it only provides a wireless signal for computers, tablets phones etc. It must have a wired connection to it from the internet. It does not have a firewall so if you have a internet connection only at this time you should get a model with a router/firewall not this model.

Answer:	It's going to be connected to the same network and can have the same SSID. I use mine as an access point at the other end of the my house and gave it a slightly different name so I would know which device (my router also has wireless connectivity). I could always look at signal strength and tell the difference, but I like the slightly different name.

Answer:	Also note that the ethernet port is only 100Mbit. So if your existing WiFi is usually capable of more than 100Mbit, for example your WiFi internet is 150Mbit or more, you will only get around 100Mbit or a little less to your ethernet device. You'd have to pay a little more money for a different device with a GigaBit ethernet port if you want to get anything more than 100Mbit out of this ethernet port.

Answer:	In my case, our router & cable internet connection was in my son's room. By the time we got to my room and other rooms in the house the connection got slower, more interruption, lousy TV streaming, etc. Now that we have this extender all of those issues have disappeared. No one can explain it in simpler terms than me because I listen to my son who is going to school for computer programming. I have no idea how any of this works! 

Answer:	I have the AC1200 Wifi Range Extender, (Model EX6150). It is worth the money as it seems to have a much more powerful range than my router. With both of them my range is extended significantly. the range easily covers a 3000SF highly insulated home (including all interior floors and walls). The Wifi signal is strong on 3 exterior porches as well. Setup was a breeze and the Wifi signal lights clearly let you know if you are too far from your router to power the extender.
Question:	Does it matter if my wall outlet is behind a piece of furniture? The only wall outlet I have available is behind my dresser
Answer:	I found out from experience that a mirror directly between your computer and the wifi router will weaken the signal. A metal filing cabinet would do the same, but wooden furniture doesn't hurt it at all.

Answer:	I paired the extender with the router. Then I plugged the extender into an outlet at the far end of the house, a distance of approximately 120 feet. It has worked very well giving us a good signal through out the 218 ft. wide house on one level.

Answer:	Yes!!! I am using it in my RV to pick up free wi-file and it boosting my signal to full bars as though as I am sitting next to the AP. The speed is insanely fast. Thank God I didn't purchase additional T-Mobile lousy "unlimited" on the hotpot device. Look at my review and the image I uploaded. By 50 feet I am getting full bar from the building ( not sure where the AP is located) but I believe it is somewhere further away. With my Note 4, I am getting one or two bars. My kindle HDX 7" getting two. Sometimes the signAL shows no bar but still working and sometimes just stopped. With this thing, the signal is full bars as listed on the router admin page. I could tell the difference because of the page loading. Buy it!!
Question:	Any good reports on the EX7000 from people who are NOT part of the "Friends and Family Test program" I am very interested in this, but
Answer:	I don't speak "tech" but make of this what you will. Our house has ceiling heat and a kitchen with appliances against the wall that is in the middle of the house basically. Bottom line kitchen is dead zone and the wires for ceiling heat made connections from the modem on the other side of the house near impossible. I have xfinity 105 and had 2 techs here trying to make it communicate. We decided we had 2 options, an extender or hard wire the other side of the house through the electrical outlets. Purchased the EX7000 because if I have to invest I'm going with best I can find and afford and this was it. Placement is in my kitchen near the doorway to the part of the house that has signal, we now have excellent wireless in all areas of the house and I game online wireless without any wifi signal issues even if everyone else in the house is online. I hope you have the same luck :-)

Answer:	Sorry for the delay, going from my kitchen which is where the range extender is to the far side of my garage and even another 10 feet outside of it, I am looking at approximately 40 ft & 50 ft with the signal at 55 dBM & 64 dBM respectively. I hope this helps you.

Answer:	Unfortunately no. While your router may be a tri-band (1 2.4ghz and 2 5ghz), this only supports extending (1 2.4ghz and 1 5ghz). Like you, and we and the rest of the tech world are still waiting for a tri band extender but has yet to come to market. To note, of course you could simply buy a tai-band router, and then in settings convert it to an extender, the obvious down sides being mainly cost and the large size of a router vs a dedicated extender.

Answer:	Yes, I have it connected to a USB 2.0 port on my older laptop and it hooks up immediately to my gigabit home internet with a very strong connection. I highly recommend this particular Netgear Nighthawk adapter. I have several others that are not as good. I have a TP-Link AC1900 (do not recommend it) and a D-Link AC1900 which is a very good adapter but the Nighthawk has them all beat!

Answer:	It's work great on my desktop connecting to the internet I don't see why it wouldn't work on your PS4 or Xbox. It connects automatically nothing else to once you install it.

Answer:	If my experience is a predictor of yours, then yes. This worked perfectly for me. I have a Netgear R7000 Nighthawk router (AC1900) downstairs and could not get a consistent or fast connection before. This pairs perfectly in the far end of the over-garage room and now I have an extremely stable and fast connection.

Answer:	THis picture isn't like the extender I purchased. The one I got is white and was mounted in m y sunroom. However, the electrical plug quit working and I had to move in out in my breezeway. So far so good. Think I will put some kind of protection between it and the north open wall near it. Only time will tell how the exposure affects it.

Answer:	This router doesn’t work with a regular lan router not sure for vsat tech. Drops connect regularly even though a green light is displayed.

Answer:	it is wireless extender. Its manual says it could be main wireless access point too.

Answer:	You can not make the chain shorter. Also consider the chain is very heavy. Definitely not an everyday purse.

Answer:	The snakeskin bag is medium and is approximately 8" high and 11.5" wide. The black bag is one size. Approximately the same size or slightly bigger.

Answer:	Yes, it's all about placement. I live in a 5th wheel about 100+ ft from our trailer house. That's a lot of metal that will reflect your signal, so if possible, move your router as close as possible to a window facing your Camper, and set the Extender outside, midway or closer to the camper if needed. I used an extention cord and a clear plastic bag for cover, and put it up on a pole about 10 ft high, but I've considered setting it on top of a roof vent cover if signal seems weak. Set the antennae perpendicular (45° angle) for best signal strength and try to keep your windows clear, as that is where most of your signal will be able to penetrate that big tin box on wheels. Then it's just trial and error, keep adjusting their locations until you have the perfect signal inside.
