But since you want to connect your DTV box and Blu Ray this item will not work for you unless you use adapter or converters. That is what this device was meant to do or act as a way to use coaxial digital to RCA output. HDMI best audio, followed by (SPDF) digital optical, digital coxial, and RCA. Question:	I want to be able to switch between the signal from my Atari to regular cable TV. Will this work for that
Answer:	I'm not sure about a splitter inverted. I do know that using an ordinary splitter will not work. It allows both antenna signals to be received by your tv at the same time. Unfortunately, your tv cannot differentiate between the 2. The result being an unwatchable picture, if any! By using the switchable splitter, you allow only one of the 2 antenna signals to pass at a time. This of course is dependent on which antenna the switch is set to. Although it is an inconvenience to have to get up and manually move the switch to the desired antenna signal each time. I would definitely go with the switchable splitter.

Answer:	I am not sure exactly what you need to solve the issue. HD picture not only depends on splitter, but also depends on Coax cable. You may need high quality coax cable. RG-6 shielded (not quad shielded) all the way from HDTV to main box and all in between. The more cable runs, the more you loose the quality. So, you need to make sure as short as possible your cable length. You can measure HD quality with measurement machine. Answer:	yes&No -For the best broadband internet connection -The cable coming to your home should go to a 2way splitter (1 in to 2 out) with one of the cables coming out going DIRECTLY to your modem. The other cable coming out can be split again to your TVs. If you are coming from a wall outlet (& have more than 1 wall outllet in your home), then that cable has already been split & you should not split again before going to your modem. You'd be better off hooking up your modem to a different wall outlet, rather than split again. Now if you have no choice, & you have to split after the wall outlet, then this splitter will do fine, & hopefully you wont have any connection problems. Our comcast cable was split coming into the home & then we used a splitter as you are planning to & our internet was fine for years (except that it had to be reset often). Then cable Co made some recent "upgrades" and our speed dropped & problems increased. I did some research & found that degrading the signal with splitters is worse on internet than it is on TVs. Now we get much higher speeds by being sure cable running to our home is split with cable carrying 1/2 the signal to modem with no splits in between & other 1/2 to a 2nd splitter then TVs. So if you do split again after outlet this is just something to consider if you have connection problems. Good Luck. As a point of reference: there are unbalanced 3way splitters. These have 1 line in & 3 out I believe they still send 1/2 the signal to 1 cable out & then split the other 1/2 of signal between the other 2 cable outs. I have been trying to find out if this is better choice since I have only 2 TVs I would then have only the one splitter where cable comes in. I'm sure that would be better choice for TVs, but haven't been able to confirm that signal strength is as good for modem as above configuration.
