I do not notice any bleeding light along the edges, further I think the image quality is great. Answer:	The two monitors are very similar. However, with the slightly larger price tag of the 239 comes the IPS display. While both screens have the same resolution, IPS technology resolves the issue of very limited viewing angle that can appear with non IPS displays, as well as improving color reproduction (i.e. the screen appears more vivid and closer to actual coloration). The 239 states that it has a 178 degree viewing angle, where color and shape of the image is lost even when looking at different angles. I can attest to this, as my display can be viewed from all over with the same great color reproduction. Hope my answer helped!
