Answer:	The T35u-RW is is the Read/Write version, the case is yellow to help signify this.

Answer:	It only writeblocks the device you are attaching it to. It doesn't create an image for you. To create an image use forensic software tools.

Answer:	You will need to use imaging software with this product such as FTK Imager from Access Data. It will do a full forensic image of the drive or volume. If you need to access protected areas though, you will need to provide legitimate credentials. Also, FTK also has the option of capturing info that allows you to crack passwords.

Answer:	The TK35U will not work on mobile phones, it enables forensic acquisition of SATA and IDE solid-state-drives. The TK8U enables forensic acquisition of most USB 3.0 devices, however mobile phones are not necessarily considered a USB mass storage device, so they can not be write protected like a USB disk drive or USB thumb drive. You will require specialized software to forensically examine the mobile device.

Answer:	I believe the hard case uses foam and you could cut some more spaces, but it's been awhile since I've laid eyes on this kit. I billed it through to a customer and they put it on a shelf for hopefully-never-need-again.

Answer:	The Forensic Duplicators from Tableau such as the Tableau TX1, TD2u, and TD3 are stand-alone devices that can write-protect and image/clone a drive without any host side device such as a laptop/computer. The Forensic Bridges such as the T8u require use of a laptop/desktop and imaging software to make an image of a suspect drive. All Bridges/duplicators from Tableau are write-protected on the suspect/source side unless otherwise specified.
Question:	Can I use this to copy data from the source drive to the destination computer...or can I only image the source drive through this device
Answer:	This device must be used with a host computer. The suspect drive will be connected to the device and the T8u itself will be hooked to a computer via USB 3. The image will need to be stored on a drive that is attached to the computer.
Question:	Can I recover dead drive with this? if not what do you recommend
Answer:	No, the Tableau TK8U does not recover data from a dead drive.
Question:	Why cant I power this off a universal laptop charger if I have the connector tip that fits
