Answer:	I imagine Gina B figured it out, but it will arrive looking like it is missing slats. They are screwed to the ends of the swing for stability. Unscrew them and then put them into their missing place. Note to seller- assembly directions need significant improvement.

Answer:	Bolts are sufficient. We also wrapped the chain around the beam.

Answer:	The back is to be screwed onto the seat. All the slats are in place already and already screwed on. THe side arms have to be screwed on and the chain hooked up through proper holes and hooks. If you got the cup holders, they have to be screwed on. Good instructions included.

Answer:	Ours had everything that we needed. As I recall we received the bolts, eye bolts, washers and nuts, in addition to the chains. I would check with the vendor.

Answer:	Ours are 45x17x2 inches and fit nicely. I don't a thicker back would be comfortable, might be OK on the seat.
