Answer:	the touch screen part acts just like a mouse if you can use a mouse you can use the touch screen. you MUST connect the monitor to your computer with a printer style cable for the touch screen to function. the cable is included.

Answer:	If you are using Windows as the operating system on your laptop. You probably have your multiple displays settings set to "Duplicate". To correct this, Minimize or close any open windows. Right click on any free portion of your desktop, select screen resolution, on the option that says "Multiple Displays", choose "Extend desktop to this display". Then click Apply.

Answer:	I have not used this on a raspberry pi. But as long as you can establish the HDMI connection and plug in the USB for touch screen . It should work.

Answer:	I use it extended. Beware, though, that after the October 10 Windows 10 update, the multi-touch system (with ANY multi-touch monitor, not just this one) is only fully functional for non-Microsoft applications (e.g. flight simulations) if the touch monitor is designated to as the Windows "Main" monitor in the Windows display settins panel (right-click on an empty spot on the desktop) - otherwise it will only respond as if it were a single touch monitor. Windows "system" gestures, though, will work even if the monitor is not designated as the Main monitor. Hopefully Microsoft will revert to the previous situation where ANY multi touch monitor would process multiple touches for applications, even if not designated as "Main". Bummer!

You can buy an HDMI to USB-C cable on Amazon, but I don't know if that would work. If that's a deal-breaker, you might want to look at something else. Asus does make the Zenscreen MB16AMT and the Zenscreen MB16AHP, which have a micro-HDMI input, as well as a built-in battery. The former is also touch-compatible. They are only marginally thicker (1mm) and .1kg heavier. But, otherwise, are similar.

Answer:	If you are referring to the ability to use your finger on the screen to write notes in a word processing document, then yes. I use the built in ‘on screen keyboard‘ with windows 10 to write in notepad and anywhere there is a text field. The on screen keyboard supports hand writing in addition to the traditional keyboard layout. I haven’t tried a pen or stylus yet. If that’s not what you meant then please clarify and I’ll do my best to answer.

Answer:	I got it as a refurb. It came with a 90 day warranty from Amazon rather than the manufacturer. Been using it for about 18 months with no problems. Everything I needed to get it going was in the box. Previous experience with refurb items has been generally good. I've only had one dud (a Quisinart toaster)over the years, but they took that back no problem. The unit may or may not look like new as it says, but mine looked perfect. Not sure why someone would let go of it.

Answer:	Depending on which model you get there are two different "HD" resolutions. The MB168B has a resolution of 1366 x 768 HD. The MB168+ is the full 1920 x 1080 HD version of the monitor. The lower priced model, MB168B might be 720 HD if that helps you understand the difference. Tv's work in 720HD and 1080HD. Naturally the 1080 is the higher image quality and higher resolution. It might also be affected by the usb port used. The full effects such as brightness and best image quality require the usb 3.0 connection. It will work on usb 2.0 but not to its potential.

Answer:	The two monitors are very similar. However, with the slightly larger price tag of the 239 comes the IPS display. While both screens have the same resolution, IPS technology resolves the issue of very limited viewing angle that can appear with non IPS displays, as well as improving color reproduction (i.e. the screen appears more vivid and closer to actual coloration). The 239 states that it has a 178 degree viewing angle, where color and shape of the image is lost even when looking at different angles. I can attest to this, as my display can be viewed from all over with the same great color reproduction. Hope my answer helped!

Answer:	The 34" has 100Hz refresh rate. I own it and my settings have it set at 100Hz.

Answer:	If you want the full 2560x1440 resolution, HDMI won't do it (at least on earlier MacBook Pros). HDMI cable to Thunderbolt port (with adaptor dongle) will only give you up to 1920x1080. Order a separate Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable to get full clear 2560x1440 display.

Answer:	It is a setting in the monitor menu, accessed through the buttons on the back of the screen, and can be controlled by you. It won't come on automatically. If you do want it to do so automatically, and you use Win 10, you can use the night light settings in Windows, which do the same thing, and set them to come on at a certain time.

Answer:	lol... you're giving him/her random numbers.... i'll keep this simple. if your system (FPS) can run to match the refresh rate (hz) then it is worth it. it also has freesync, meaning it forces the fps and hz to match WITH AN AMD GRAPHICS CARD inside a PC. example: you have a computer with an AMD graphics card, this monitor supports 144hz, that means that you need a minimum of 144 fps on a game to use 144hz. refresh rate = how many times A PIXEL can be shown per second. fps = rendered frames per second.
Question:	Ihave heard that this monitor only runs @ 144hz when using the dvicable does this mean if i hook up a dvi to hdmi cable to my xbox it will run@144hz
Answer:	This monitor works perfectly with Xbox one, Xbox one s and Xbox one x, BUT you will not get the benefits of the 144hz that the monitor has because Xbox games are only made to run at 30FPS or 60 FPS. To get 140 FPS you will need a gaming PC with a freesync capable AMD graphics card and they do not have DVI on their new graphics cards anymore, only some Nvidia graphics cards still have that (antiquated technology) and you CANNOT get Nvidia graphics cards to run at 140 FPS with and AMD freesync monitor, you need a gsync monitor for that.

Question:	How many hdmi & usb ports are there
Answer:	One HDMI, One VGA and One Audio port. All three cables are included. The VGA cable takes some work to fit it and tighten the screws. Instead of facing out, all ports face down and there is very little finger room to tighten or loosen the screws. The control buttons are on the right side out of view from the front and they are not marked. The diagram is vague, but after trial & error it's no problem. Once the cables are attached and the controls are understood, there should be no problems. The quality of the picture is excellent and the outside frame is small. This replaced another 32" TV that had a much larger frame and took up much more space. Just don't be in a hurry for delivery. I bought this online on 11 March and it was delivered 16 April (Easter).
